Geez, thank you for doing this vid! I thought either there was something wrong with me, on my Inkosi! I couldn’t deploy it smoothly with one hand! I tried to loosen the pivot, and the blade went off-centered! I’m just so grateful to have caught this vid! I’d decided it was either the shop’s fault, or mine was faulty! At any rate, I’m no more a CR fan!! I couldn’t agree more with you!! I actually really love my Mystic right now, and it’s become my primary carry (although I often play with, “Stitch!”)! You’ve never steered me wrong, so thank you again; your content is so good! I actually learn from you, instead of feeling hustled! Thanks again, brother!🤗

Imnt big on the standard model. Ive got one with polished scales, box elder inlays with dual thumbstuds. Now you have a Sebenza worth buying.. so glad they keep the washer tradition.. i like bearing knives but doesnt belong on a Sebenza

CRK makes a great TOOL. That’s the long and short of of it. It’s just not a fidget toy. They are solid, well build and do the job well. I went through my CRK phase and used tf out of them all. I recently obtained a Eutsler Dukling and it’s pretty much everything we wished the sebenza was. Same basic blade shape, super clean, functional design, insane fit and finish. The kicker is it’s on bearings and has the action we wished CRK had. Drop shut, crazy clicky detent, snappy action. For me, it’s the ultimate, end-all-be-all edc carry.

The CRK is great. I've had 2 in. They are awesome, well made, great cutting tool. But it lacks in areas I've always longed for even as a teenager. I want to be able to flick it open and it be fairly easy to easy to do so. I love a slow roll but that can't be the only way for it to be high on my list. For me it's not necessarily the fidget - that is some of it, but like I said I desire easy deployment, and I'm not picky on which one, the closing action I just want it to be smooth and clean while dropping as I give it some light to medium swings. I will still end up buying one cause I do like it, I just think there's better and better values. And I enjoy washer knives just to throw that in too

There is no best knife for anyone, its all preference. Ive bought knives from spyderco to high dollar customs and as far as the best goes crk is up there. For me the Eutsler duk is the best knife i have and the Sebenza isn't very far behind. Those ABW knives are nice but not in the same league.

I own a big inkosi. That model isn't made for people with big hands because the second fingergroove isn't made right. It's not for me... It's broken in and i can frontflip it...

I think they're using both magnacut, and s45 these days. Whichever they can get to increase production, if you try to order directly from them it's a 4 year wait for a sebenza, 6 for umnumzaan I think. I've carried a sebenza classic 2000 for almost 20 years and just recently bought an inkosi. The inkosi feels great in my hand, but it's harder to open than my sebenza.

The ABW with magnacut at 64-65 HRC and the beautiful 3d micro milling he does on the blades. The titanium micro milled handles at 3-350$ is an amazing value. Extremely small operation 1 man 1 woman is the entire operation

I wanted a knife with the absolute best washer action I could buy, that said it came down to 2 brands of which Reeves was one. I ended up buying a Rockstead Shin. I compared the 2 brands and the Rockstead just had better action, probably due to the mirror polished blade. When it comes to US manufacturers I prefer Hinderer to Reeves but I generally prefer bearing pivots over washers.

Judging from the video. The ABW you showed seem not even close to the sebenza. The sebenza is and expensive knife but from the tool perspective i feel like it is better than most on its price range and above. It works, it is rock solid and it lasts. Not to mention that CRK will fix anything that happens to it Flipping action, dropshot, bearings feel useless to me for that kind of knives. If it was a custom i would care but for a plain titanium production CNC knife it makes no sense to me

I will definitively say any knife over $250-300 isn't the best in any which way.. it doesn't matter at that point how good it is executed, the amount of diminishing returns past $250 is staggering. After that you're purchasing for particulararity and/or ego...

Absolutely not the best knife... I find that you can't compare it with another price range. My Rockstead tei linerlock has the same action as my microtech socom elite linerlock. I prefer the tei but can buy 6 scom's for the same price.

Honestly you can tell just from looking at the ABWs in comparison to the CRK Sebenza there is no comparison whatsoever. The workmanship is so far and above!!! That being said, is it necessary for a daily carry tool? NO. For the buck, I cannot justify myself to buy a CRK to use. It would end up being a safe queen. At the price point of a CRK I think I would probably never carry or use it, but then again I am not a very rich man lol. My most expensive carry and use knives are ~$250 and much under. I am okay with that! For the cost to carry and beat the shit out of on a USA made knife, you really can't beat SpyderCo.

Would I love to have one of these? Of course. But I can't bring myself to spend that when there are so many amazing knives, even USA made, for far less money. You mentioned ABW, and I would love one of their wharnies. But I think of how many Spyderco knives I can pick up that are USA made, have great action, and heat treatments you can count on. I could get a Manix 2, Para3, and a Smock or Shaman, with enough left over probably to grab a Taiwan Spydie or 2! Thanks homie!

A shaman is going to be close to the price as a small sebenza is ;) smock is overprices aswell^^ i just got a blade hq smock. Its nice but not even close to a sebenza

I'd pass. Just not worth it, no matter what anyone says. There's that point where some just want to show off and I'm just a country boy that doesn't need to show off.
