In today's economy, stocks outperform real estate. Amid a housing bubble, stocks offer dynamic, liquid investments with diverse growth potential, providing flexibility to navigate economic challenges. Unlike real estate, the stock market allows savvy investors to leverage a responsive and adaptable investment landscape. I invested around $200,000 in the market, and my positions have grown astronomically.

Absolutely! Most undervalue advisors, but their expertise and risk mitigation strategies are invaluable for savvy investors. For those with busy schedules, monitoring the market is challenging, so we delegate to experts. Have some patience and consistency and don’t put more than you can afford. Stocks aren’t the type of thing you should even be starting if you don’t have an emergency fund in my opinion. If anything happens you sell your stocks. If it makes you feel better, most people are living paycheck to paycheck and that’s okay. It just means they never learned anything about finances. Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2020, and I return at least $30k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

@@deyh5664 Its not so much if you day trade or do long term trading. Its about knowing when to enter a trade and when not to. It all depends on what the stock is doing. Sometimes I will day trade an asset. Other times I will swing trade it. While other times I will buy it and hold it. All depends. Sometimes you might go for a day trade and end up swing trading it, or vice versa. But its mostly about percentages. The more you invest the more you can make. 10% of a $300 trade is $30. But 10% of a $5000 trade is $500. And you can make that $500 in like 15 min to 1 day. ESPECIALLY with Crypto cause it's volatile. So HOW you trade an asset depends on how that particular asset performs in the market. One stock will be great for day trading while another is good for swing trading. ALL DEPENDS.

Imo you should have a side hustle like a business (that you enjoy), have passive income come from real estate, and keep all the money you won't need to use right away in stocks. Having a stable income from a job will make sure you won't starve, the side hustle is some extra money that can really help, real estate is where you'll become rich in 20-30 years, and stocks keep your money safe from inflation and bank collapses (do S&P500 tho because it's pretty much garanteed to not fail). It's a combination of all of these that make you rich and after that you can quit your job, and sit back as your net worth keeps going up. And your kids will have a massive head start and (as long as they aren't lazy) increase the income from properties by 10-30 times.

The people who outperform the index’s every year are those who are active investors. Investing in real estate is an active source of income. So is building a business. It’s not a fair comparison if you’re taking the benchmark yields on a passive stock portfolio vs. active participation in real estate and/or building a business. Of course the active will outperform. You can build an active income/business around stocks if you want. Different strokes.

That was due to MBS (Mortgage Backed Securities) a practice which did not stop by the way, its a product of the secondary market...its the reason why you can buy a home for 3.5%, and makes guys like him possible, its a finance tool and is bought and sold like stocks by large investors, sovereign funds, and banks...even banks know owning the underlining which is the physical home is a big headache, they rather package it up and sell it as paper....the problem was underwriting requirements weren't as strict as they are now, so it was even easier to buy a home by ppl who had no business owning one, they then packaged a bunch of bad loans and marketed it as prime and sold it to clients all around the world @@ecos889

There is no better place than stocks for the average investors. The majority of whom are after a comfortable retirement. A company is not as simple as buying a stock in Apple or Microsoft and selling 30 years later. Btw, you would have averaged 30% if you did. Not bad if you're an average Joe. Now, consider the time and risk a company brings. 70% of all startups fail. The cons of real estate is well documented. Any one pushing companies and real estate are trying to con you.

Never buy less than $500-1k worth of stocks. Buy enough of the same stock and if that stock drops good, buy double the amount you started with. Wait. Sometimes it's a month sometimes it's a year.
