Reddit's loss is Steam's gain. TF2 is better off on Steam's discussion pages anyway with how subreddits for anything not incredibly niche or esoteric are basically cringefests that actively kill braincells.

Hopefully this kills the sub and pushes us all back into steam forums.

Wasn't the protests for standing with the other apps that use Reddit's API. There are apps that use/used the API of Reddit. The apps did not catch the same data that Reddit does right now. So the mods of different subs are trying to make a change for better here. Yeah the subs are closed up until something changes (if anything changes). But people there are trying to hand a big fuck you to Reddit and CCP
