I have been to Mumbai just once and that too my layover from varanasi to goa flight. I visited juhu beach and had vada pav there. After 4 vada pav's I ate chhole Bhature to fulfill my appetite.

Yeah mate... Do try MISAL pav... It's a lentil gravy... The consistency is usually thin or medium... But it's spicy..... 😍 Usally served with 2 pavs and the lentil gravy is garnished with some farsan and chopped onion! Do Google it to get a clear idea abt it...

Didn't look that appetizing compare to others. But my question is which place sells the best one with best hygiene?! As a traveler, my stomach isn't going to be regionalized in a week and I'm not planning on spending my time in the washroom 😅

@@kakuella there are some restaurants that follows hygiene similar to Jumbo King. Also if you want to try best combination of Vada pav, Go to 'Jugaadi Adda'. They offer original Vada pav. Plus combination with Mayo, Tandoori sauce, Barbeque sauce, mint sauce etc. Wayyyyyyy better than Jumboking.

Manohar kaka (kaka=uncle) speaking in Marathi about vada pav on a global, English channel gave me literal goosebumps, it's rare to see my language being represented on such a large platform 🥰 I honestly feel so proud and seen. When the lock down ends, I'm surely visiting Manohar kaka's shop and tell him how happy I felt seeing him represent marathi people in front of the whole world ☺ (Marathi is the native language of Maharashtra state, if anyone is wondering)

Except in his case it was for worse... If we rate Vada Paavs, his chain ranks a solid second from bottom just because McDonald's Aaloo tikki burger is sitting solid at last place.

@@amitpatilamit Jumbo king deserves the last spot. McDonald's doesn't sell the aloo tikki in the name of vada pav. Sure they have totally modified a burger for bringing in the locals. But still it's a burger. However jumbo king used to sell "vada pav" (I think now they call it Indian burger, not sure though). So they deserve the last spot.

I've had a variety of potato croquettes in several different countries. Love them all. Never had them in a burger/sandwich. Definitely need to remedy this.

Plz do😂😂😂.. also the pav we eat came from the Portuguese invaders . Pao is bread in Portuguese, so we just adapted it n didn't change the name. This pav u saw is available only in Mumbai. Every other city n state try to replicate , but can't get it right.. it's the right amount sweetness , softness and fulffiness.. i can't even explain how much of a difference the pav makes!! I love all kinds of bread , but pav is hands down my fav. You can hv pav with anything...scrambled eggs , kheema ( ground meat like chilli) .. ugh I'm hungry now..

Great video! Although the McAloo Tikki is inspired by, well, the Aloo Tikki which in itself is a street dish pretty popular in the north of India. And the burger is actually extremely popular!

The best thing, it's cheap. You can get six or seven vada pave for a dollar. An average person usually needs only two vada pavs to fill their stomach.

गरम वडा, तिखट गोड चटणी, थोडा चुरा आणि पाव, बरोबर गरम चहा, सोबत मुंबईचा पाऊस. स्वर्ग कुठे आहे? इथे आहे! :) Garam Vada, Spicy and sweet chutney, crispy remains vada and Pav, a cup of hot tea and Mumbai rains. Where is heaven? Here it is!

I have eaten Vada Pav only once in my life that too in Bangalore in a small gully near SP Road, just because a friend of mine who is from North Karnataka told me to try it, and I loved it very much. So much that I wanted to go there again to try another.
