Love this!! I met Josh Brown back in 2009, when he played on my first personal album, and I just loved hearing this beautiful story of God's goodness!!! I had to wait until I was 40 before the Lord brought along my wonderful husband, and now we are about to celebrate our first Wedding Anniversary! Funny thing is, my husband (also Josh) and I were originally born on the same day, in the same hospital, within hours of each other.... And then it took us 40 years to find each other again! 😄 God always knows what He is doing! And He is FAITHFUL!!!!

I hear you as single blessed woman of 49. I understand God would not hold a good man from me. His way is higher than mine and I have come to learn this. I thought I deserved marriage and kids like it is a promise. I believed a lie. It is not a promise. I will hang on to Rachel’s final words here about being single to wait on the Lord 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻 at now age (a week away from turning 65) having a failed marriage of 31 years, and then a failed relationship of 7 years, because I refuse to deal with mistreatment. It makes me very sad and very lonely. I pray for a wonderful Godly moral loyal respectful good Man, with a wonderful Family that I can love and embrace, where I will be welcomed and love so dearly, visa versa. You’re a precious couple and a lovely Family! I adored Rebecca’s love story as well ♥️

I just wanted to comment on the fact that many Christian parents pray about the future spouse of their child or children without actually knowing whether or not that child will want to get married or not. It could very well be that he/she wants to be single. If they want to pray for their child specifically about this they should ask the Lord and pray then according to what He shows them.

It is better to not marry says Paul says, as our devotion to God is distracted. I am single and even though I would want to marry I understand we are living in difficult days. Pray first for salvation and not marriage. 50% of marriages end in divorce. Look at Doug and Lisa Weiss. Broken but God is our husband
