When I first saw the name "Fleeting Feelings" I couldn't help it but... I creamed. I creamed so hard in my pants that comparing it to a 7 layer dip would not be enough to describe how much there was. The feeling of both overwhelming satisfaction and relief washed over me and I couldn't even pay attention to the rest of the video, I couldn't even tell you if this episode was better than the rest because that title- that intro- it was like I had ascended and was another being entirely. I'm not sure if I'll ever get this level of pure, unadulterated gratification ever again- not even the day I met my wife and fell in love with her on first sight could ever match this feeling. I guess you could say... it really is... fleeting. But that's the beauty of it, isn't it? How one man can be so brilliant to come up with something like that that would not just make me feel this way, but many others who could share in these same feelings. I'm glad we got to enjoy this together as we did. I'm going to go take a shower now.

Oh nice catch, yes the onscreen visual says 1171 but the pet and luck calculation were using the correct kc, 1771*

Love the video! But fyi the Artio math at 21:57 is wrong (or one of the listed values is). My rule of thumb is that you have a 40% chance of getting a drop by half the drop rate, so saying that 46% of players will get it still a ways before half the drop rate immediately fails the smell test. Sorry to be "that guy" but as a fellow stats nerd I had to say something - probably just a typo somewhere in the script setup.

yes someone pointed it out right after the video dropped. My pet clip showed the true kc earlier in the vid 1771. I had a mistype when doing the onscreen visuals for the stats segment and typed 1171 and didn't notice. The voiceover and luck calculation was both based on the true pet droprate of 1771 though :D thanks for letting me know though. Your test is spot on! It's funny we all have our numbers we remember, my 2 favorite to use are .69*pet_rate_kc is ~50% or that hitting exactly the pet droprate is ~63%. thanks for reaching out and don't ever apologize for being "that guy." I love the fact that people check my numbers, its good habits for all of us to get in.

osrs wiki has a dry calculator. you type the droprate and how many you obtained and spits out the percentile.

At the end, you say you get Artio pet at 1171, but you got it at 1771 :o

I actually do say the correct pet kc out loud but the on screen number I mistyped 1171 instead of 1771 and didn’t notice it until after vid was published. I’m sorry for confusion, I won’t let it happen again! The pet luck % was calculated on the correct number too.

8x rate on minigame points, first 2 that come to mind are soul wars zeal & magic training arena. 5x rate on most uniques from bosses.

About half of the clips are live reactions in this vid (all pet clips are always the live thing). It’s hard to get a live clip perfect when streaming on twitch, so many things can ruin them. Getting the voiceovers to seem legitimate is definitely a work in progress but I’m still new to KZfaq and hopefully I’ll get it to a point where it’s impossible for you to tell the live clips vs ones I have to voiceover.
