From the rumors, it sounds like they aren't slowing down any time soon with the Sonic media-verse as they want to grow the live action television & film catalog so I think we'll eventually get everyone. I'm curious how they'll introduce Rouge.

Silver will get his own movie for sonic 5 if that’s gonna be sonic 2006 or they could do something new and add silver to sonic 4 movie which I’m guessing would be sonic heros

This makes a lot more sense now. Yesterday I went to a snow cone place and I found that they were doing a sonic collab and their main focus seemed to be on shadow which I thought was interesting. This definitely clears it up and makes a lot more sense

I love that it’s the year of shadow but I also want to give some attention to knuckles, it’s his 30th anniversary this year, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 came out in 1994 it’s no coincidence that it’s movie counterpart ( and knuckles) would be released exactly 30 years later.

We need a Year of Knuckles (And Silver, he really needs it). With Sonic Frontiers bringing back Knuckles true personality and legacy, it would be best to capitalize on it and not have him fall back into what he was reduced too in this passing years.

Mojang made a mob called the Breeze to/in Minecraft. This was to drown out the Breeze MC client. Like that, Sonic x Shadow... Generations... was made to drown out the Rule 34, ideally.

Another reason why this is a big deal for long-time Sonic fans is that this is a rare chance at getting Shadow from a Vageta clone back to his own unique character. Ever since Shadow's game, he has just been an edgy rival of Sonic without feelings for anybody. But in Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic 06, he genuinely cared for Rouge and Omega, so much so that when he learns Omega is destined to kill Shadow in the future, shadow stays by his side. There are other examples but this comment is already too long. The point is that Shadow always cared for all his friends, now he doesn't care for anyone.

"this didn't happen for no reason, this year is the 23rd anniversary of Sonic Adventure 2" Literally every year since its release is an anniversary of Adventure 2, and celebrating its 23rd anniversary is weird considering most people and companies really only celebrate 5 year anniversaries (and multiples of). Truth is, they probably just had a lot of Shadow stuff coming out and decided to market it as the year of Shadow.

I know this is a Shadow vid, but I wish Sega would stop pretending Silver doesn't exist JUST because the game he was introduced in was poorly received. JUST GIVE MY BOY A GAME THAT REDEEMS HIS REP! Cuz right now the only playable games we have are 06 (duh), the Mario and Sonic Olympics series, and as an unlockable character in some of the other Sonic games. That's it; he has no other playable games as far as I'm aware. I also feel like when he does make an appearance, Sega goes out of their way to make him seem like a character we wouldn't want to play, often portraying him as weak in comparison to Sonic when my boy LITERALLY held his own against Sonic AND Shadow. Alright vent over, Year of Silver for 2026 pls, Sega.
