All this talk about "mini skirts" and going "naked" is nonsense or totally exaggerated. Most women don't wear mini skirts or walk around half naked anyway. The blame is on the women - as if men can't control themselves around women so the _woman_ has to change! In Sweden where I live it's _much_ more likely to be abused by a man from the middle east than a Swedish man. The statistics are very clear. *It's not the woman who should cover her face - it's the man!*

Demon possesed false prophet Muhammad "the MONKEY " Sahih Muslim Book 008, Hadith Number 3240. He who sees a woman and his heart is affected, should come to his wife, and should have intercourse with her. Jabir reported that Allah's Messenger (May peace be upon him) saw a woman, and so he came to his wife, Zainab, as she was tanning a leather and had sexual intercourse with her. He then went to his Companions and told them: The woman advances and retires in the shape of a devil, so when one of you sees a woman, he should come to his wife, for that will repel what he feels in his heart.

I really thank you and appreciate your brave honesty. I’m American born but parents are Afghan. My family is more educated but still slightly holds some of these sexist beliefs and are still religious despite the men being such hypocrites. I’m ex Muslim myself but the women are often holding the entire burden and devout, but the men can “sin” as often as blinking the eyes. It’s so unhealthy and i am glad you’re exposing the truth. Misogyny is institutional to Islam and that’s why these men are like this and I’m sorry you all deal with it in Sweden.

@@moorek1967 we don't just operate on patients under anaesthesia dear. We see the patients when they present to A&E, take a proper history and conduct physical examination. We also see them in clinic for a consultation where we discuss their presenting complaint and formulate a treatment plan with them. There are follow up clinics for post-op patients as well. Lastly, not all treatment involves cutting them open when they're under general anaesthesia. Some surgeries are done under spinal or epidural anaesthesia or sedation where patients are completely awake. Some procedures are done while they're in A&E for example fracture manipulation and plaster cast application for which patients ar every much awake.

My first thought was that it was probably for a man, she had no spiritual foundation, and they were lied to about the "beauty" of this cult, and they are finding ways to justify it now. I can say one thing: Years ago I didn't have a nice coat so I wore a thick shawl over a heavy sweater in the winter. There was a sense of comfort in wearing it, like in a womb, so I feel like I get why they like that. But all the rest is not worth it. They can wear the shawl anytime they want to. They could have converted to Christianity for their same desired result but it's not as romantic as converting to the fantasy of Arabian Nights or Rudolph Valentino's 'The Sheik".

Mental illness is extremely common in all societies. There's only about 30% of us who will go through life never experiencing any form of mental illness. So that can only be a partial explanation for why Western people would convert to islam. And, in any event, 'mental illness" is such a vague umbrella term. There's gotta be some other thing that explains people like this. These two women sound very scripted to me. Not genuine sounding. I'm not entirely convinced they totally believe what they are saying. Something else is going on, but j can't figure it out

These ladies are doing a lot of projecting. OK, they felt unsatisfied with their lifestyle, but not everyone has a shallow hedonistic outlook on life. It also has nothing to do with the truth of any religion. (btw I've seen the example of non-religious Muslim man dating/marrying western woman and the woman becoming Muslim for him but then eventually becomes more religious than him. During my 15 years as a teacher at a Muslim school I saw that so many times.)

This is true. I believe they go deeper into the religion as a way to receive acceptance into the community by showing how devoted they are. These girls are often very vulnerable. Yet after listening to testimonies from women that had initially accepted Islam and then apostatised I've noticed many of them didn't know what was written in the Qur'an or the Hadiths. I believe it's the same with these two young ladies

@@seekeroftheway2241 I remember at university I knew an English convert young lady in my class who told me she met her Algerian husband in a pub where he was playing in a band (and drinking and smoking dope lol). They dated and eventually married and she converted to please him. She was the typical young liberal hippy sort of westerner into multiculturalism and the view that all religions and cultures are cool and have some truth. She eventually started studying Islam more and that's why she was studying Arabic at university with me. She went on to do post grad and became a professor of Arabic and expert on Islam and - needless to say - more religious than her husband. Though I should add she is now more of a Modernist/ progressive Muslim. I'm not sure what the percentage of women converts are on the modernist side of the spectrum but I'd hazard a guess it's a lot. Many converts journey with Islam often takes a sort of arc from liberal beginnings to stricter adherence to eventually becoming more liberal and progressive (and some also end up leaving in the end.) An example of that arc is Cat Stevens/ Yusuf Islam who entered Islam again from that hippy/Eastern spirituality perspective, to becoming more strict and fundamentalist, to now being pretty liberal... and playing at Glastonbury 😜.) My own journey took an arc like that, though I was born Muslim (and I eventually left Islam completely.)

@@HassanRadwan133 Ahh yes I've heard about Yusuf performing again after years of saying it was against his religion. Hassan I've got a question that i believe you may have more knowledge on, I've been intrigued by a Qur'an verse referencing Dhu Al - Qarnayn and of course Gog & Magog. I've noticed Islamic scholars compare this character to Alexander The Great. However as someone that has studied Alexander in detail, his personal life, his beliefs, his battles, not once does it ever reference a group of people being bricked up behind a wall. Also Alexander only ever went East not west like this Dhu Al - Qarnayn is said to have done. Also the historical dates are way out. I was reading a book about Ancient Religion and i came across a Punic God called Baal Hammon who was also known as 'Baal Qarnem' who is also named 'he of the two horns.' Of course you can see the similarities in the names and also the 'he of the two horns.' Is it conceivable that this legend accidentally made it's way into Canaanite culture then to Jewish culture and stories and then into the Qur'an?

@@seekeroftheway2241 Dhul-Qarnayn in the Qur'an is almost certainly based on the "Alexander Romance" - which are legends and fictional stories about the life and exploits of Alexander, elaborated and expanded on over time. I'm not familiar with the "Baal Qarnem," so I can't comment. But in general "hero myths" in ancient times often influenced and/or borrowed from each other and shared similar motifs.

What drove them to Islam is certainly not reading the most trusted Islamic sources and what they have to say about women, morality and ethics. I look at wearing full-coverage clothing from a different perspective. Many Muslim women are deficient in vitamin D because they often have dark skin that covers them completely. The dark skin blocks a large part of the ultraviolet light that the skin needs to produce vitamin D, and the clothing does the rest. A Western woman may not have dark skin, but in general there is little sunlight in the winter months in some countries. And then they are also covered. A niqab is therefore bad for the bones! Serious vitamin D deficiencies also occur in pregnant Islamic women and their babies.

As a former convert, I have so many thoughts on this. It was definitely true for me that I had something in my upbringing that made me vulnerable to seek the comfort and certainty of religion. Ironically hijab played a big part in it, although not in the way these ladies describe. For me it was because I thought it would make me more valued for my inner self, not for my outer appearance. (I was wrong.) Where these ladies go wrong in this respect, is that in my opinion it's more the women who hold other women to certain beauty standards, not the men. Women can be so critical of each other and it's they who set these ever changing standards. Men are far less particular in my experience, they like/cat-call/flirt/etc with every girl or young woman. And by they I mean both muslim and non-muslim. In fact, I got more unwanted attention after my conversion than before. Yuck! So there goes their theory. Also, if non-muslim men seemingly look with more respect at them, that's might be because (again) they are less critical of women's appearance. That's what stood out to me. As a hijabi, I got far more dirty looks and criticism from regular (non-convert/muslim) women, than from regular men. So these men may only by contrast stand out as more respectful. Western fashion's main aim is yes, to be attractive, but not mainly to attract men. Whereas the islamic rules are all about being not attractive to men. It's all about the men and their control. Where's the freedom in that?

I agree with someone who stated that this is a form of escapism. Lots of people in general just cannot decide who/what/how they want to be on their own, so they lean on an outside source to define it for them and give them direction. There are definately people who are afraid of freedom and want someone/something else to make choices for them so they don't have to think. For white women, I think not having a strongly defined culture makes them more prone to attach themselves to something more "exotic". For those that marry, they often give the impression that the husband's culture/ethnicity is theirs. No, ma'am, you're still a white woman from Minnesota. Stop.

Now, for no legitimate reason, he will start saying peace be upon muhumad, and he doesn't have the wits about him to seriously ask why? If muhumad is this special creation of allah according to muslims, wouldn't muhumad already have peace upon him? Is peace not on muhumad? If it is, why ask for peace to be upon him? It just doesn't make any sense and should alert a person to something odd. And that is just absurdity among countless others. But like once they have already converted, they start trying to blindly justify islamic text and behaviour.

Trauma responses and reactions as a main reason, spot on. Thank you to these two women for making this video and to you for this response. In response to the Western women generalizations I would ask: "Do you think Indigenous, Black, Brown, LatinX, Asian, Muslim and other religious minorities, poor White women in the "West" have some of the same problems and issues you both outlined? I'd say no, many of those people are fighting against discrimination and/or for basic human rights and privilege's that some in higher economic classes and in different ethnicities have in "The West"; all the while having privilege's that other women do not have in Islamic countries. Certain subgroups have different cultural attitudes about body shape and size. The lack of nuance in discussing "The West's privilege's" and therefore it is hedonist and unmoral serves it's purpose and is incorrect. Furthermore, if Christian Nationalists come to power in my country (not the UK) your religious freedoms, as Muslims, and human rights, as women, will come under examination.

There has to be an overarching principle and imo. that is escapism. Dressing up in exotic nice garments, the interesting Subhannala's (etc.), setting them apart but also bonding within their newfound hideout. The antagonism towards the lifestyle they have left behind which is very much facilitated and encoureged by Islam. Typical for sects, as is the name changing. Refuge in a far simpler life where it's about following rules, hiding under your garments and submission. Of course while still enjoying the freedom and perks that come with a Western secular society. It'll blow over when the novelty wears off.

They sound exactly like the women in the fundamentalist Christian religion I grew up in. It's like we were trying to convince ourselves that wearing long jean skirts and not cutting our hair was so awesome when we were really all miserable.

they like my caucasian mom (i'm half caucasian & Asian), she was a C4tholic b4 she converted to I5l4m only to married with my M'zleem dad (not so reli9ious M'zleem either),, but she's not went to deep with her new reli9ion like these womans & she's not wearing this 'ninja' suit. She's only wear headscarf like mini turban (not niqab or hijab) when she go outside & not wearing it when she's at home,, my parents also never push me to practice those kind of unnecessary M'zleem's rituals like must pray 5x a day, full month fasting, must learn Arabic, etc since childhood,, they only taught me with basic moral values to become a good & healthy person (they both love to do sport)

@@S.ENTERTENMENTstill but she's quite liberal with her reli9ion (not too far left & not too far right either),, i think she's considered herself as cultural M'zleem,,, like i've already said both my parents are sportaholic person & they're not into reli9ion stuff
