Thanx much for letting us know so much about my childhood heartthrob. After watching her in Janwar and Brahmchari , I became her fan. Am 65 + today , which means she was13 years older than me when I was just a child in school. Good to know she's well settled in America for the last 30 years with a white American businessman and she herself is an entrepreneur. Considering she stopped acting in the late 60's what did she do in the interim period ? Daughter of such an eminent personality like V. Shantaram she was probably wanting her own identity that probably prompted her to quit the industry and move on in life. Kudos to her. Happy to know that she's alive and kicking and is enjoying her life in America. May she be always blessed with good health .

Я выросла в советском союзе. В середине 60 гг удалось посмотреть фильм поэма в камне с Rajsree. Я была подростком. Исполнение Rajsree оставила в моем сердце неизгладимое впечатление и до сих пор я не забыла хотя мне сейчас под 70. Потрясающая, талантливая, красивая Rajsree. Спасибо ей за прекрасные роли, завораживающие танцы. Слава ей.

One of my favourite actresses - but not much is really known about her life in America, it's very scant with minutest visuals of her family in the USA today. She did however, leave a lasting impression on cinema goers of the 60s.

I just watched this clip again. My apologies for not having grasped the first time I watched. Incidentally Rajshree has been in America ever since 1969 or 1970 which is quite a long innings....She has proved a point here by being wedded to Greg for over 4 decades that not all people in the celluloid world have multiple marriages. Hats off to her. I hope she gets to read these comments of mine some day. She will know that she has an ardent admirer in India in Bangalore. My best regards to her.
