Ashutosh Ramnarayan Neekhra (born 10 November 1967), known professionally as Ashutosh Rana, is an Indian actor, producer, author and television personality. He has worked in Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi films and has also worked in Indian television shows. He is known for his portrayal of negative roles. He has received several awards including a Filmfare OTT Award and two Filmfare Awards.
Besides being an actor, he is also an author, a philanthropist. Some of the books written by him are 'Maun Muskaan Ki Maar' and 'Ramrajya'.

He's such an intense actor!.... Sach bata raha hu, agar real life mein bhi ye kisi ko apni ghoorti hui akho se dekh le toh paseene choot jayenge samne wale ke kam se kam 1 second ke liye... And this is certainly not an exaggeration!😂 Unfortunately boolywoood jaisi unprofessional, non-talented industry ne inko bhi kai acche, kamaal ke actors ki tarah waste kar diya!... I seriously think had these kind of ace actors tried their luck in hollywood would they have been wasted like this?... Reality yahi hai ki aj bhi character actors ko wo respect nahi milti bollywood mein... Tabhi toh bollywood sirf kachra produce karta hai aur uska globally koi level nahi hai... forget comparing it to hollywood!

आशुतोष ने अपना सरनेम राना खुद नहीं बदला था, यह सागर विश्वविद्यालय में हिंदी विभाग के प्रोफेसर कांतिकुमार जैन ने बदला था। क्लास में एक ही नाम और पिता के नाम की समानता वाले दो आशुतोष रामनारायण थे। हाजिरी रजिस्टर में तब प्रोफेसर जैन ने एक आशुतोष को राना लिख दिया । और हाजिरी रजिस्टर का यही नाम फेमस हो गया विश्वविद्यालय में।
