I just love when you hear that people stayed behind because of experience with dealing with different situations where they feel that they could help the situation. But I really love is the animals. Some people will just leave them to face whatever there is coming, but other people realize that these helpless animals need people to help them in this situation. This guy sounds like a really nice guy for doing all this and the ones that stayed behind to help as well!!

It’s because our wildfire service doesn’t put out fires, they spend days planning on how to control the fire and by the time they figure out a plan the fire has already changed and then they need a few more days to plan and by then the fires are out of control and not much can be done but hope for rain.

So you know how to do this job. Well then look forward to meeting you next year. As this summer im off taking time with my wife and kids. But looking forward to see if you have the 🥜 to do our job rather then hide behind the screen. 👍🏻

@@pauly9540 I’ve been working in the forest industry since I was 13, certified hand faller, planted tress, piled lumber, run log processor…yeah I’m pretty sure I could not only keep up but excel beyond lol

@FredsPenner no you couldnt sorry to let you down buds but its like saying structured firefighters can do our jobs or wildland firefighter cant go over and dominate the structured side so yeah thats nice experience but dont mean nothing when youre racing a disaster

@@pauly9540 so you fight fires and gaslight, how appropriate lol I turned down work with the ministry because non of them could keep a calm head under pressure, not people I want in charge of my life. I have no problems with high danger work but go ahead and assume otherwise 🤷🏽‍♂️

Ok tell me how they got popping then? Im one of the thousands of firefighters who work these fires every year. So ill be quiet and wait for my lesson in fires..........

He's not surrounded by trees. there is grass all around. The fire will stop within the trees, he'll be fine.

It depends on the fire. We saw sparks fly across lake Okanagan last year and start fires on the other side of the lake.

@@lizliz4186 live in the truck is still risky for fire I see. a sea container 20/40 feet, that thing would do it. then building an exterior for it too.

@@lizliz4186 I earlier had a 40 feet sea container, but a used one. One day, I'll have one new. The interior is a must have. Metal walls and top. most affordable bunker, and nice expense.
