I hate the word tolerance in such cases; here it must be mutual love and mutual respect. You "tolerate" nuisance and bad habits..Well, since nobody is perfect, i guess, maybe, a dash of "tolerance" too her and there, now and then, wld be.. required too..

I met Nirmala in graduate school in 1973. We married in 1976. I'm a Catholic from the US, and she is an upper-caste Hindu from southern India. I've never tried to make her do anything that she hasn't wanted to do, and I've tried to be supportive in all of her endeavors. We're looking forward to our 50th anniversary and beyond.

My late wife Barbara and I met at the company where we both worked. She was an American and I an Indian from the south. We were married for 25 years. She passed away due to complications of pneumonia. She was the best thing that happened to me. Religion didn’t matter to us. Her parents welcomed me with open arms. I miss Barbara very much.

LIVING BEING IS OUR RACE,MANKIND IS OUR RELIGION HINDU,MUSLIM,SIKH,CRISTAIN,THERE IS NO SEPARATE RELIGION ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR is the father of all souls that JESUS, MOHAMMAD, GURU NANAK, VEDH was telling in BIBLE, QURAN, GURU GRANTHA SAHEB KAAVEER in HINDU VEDA Mantra Sankhya 1400 Samveda Utarchik Adhyay no.12 Khand no. 3 Shloka no. 5 says that the Supreme God Kabir manifests on Earth to spread awareness about the correct spiritual knowledge by means of His Shabdavali: “Bhadra vastra samanya3vasaano mahaan kavirnivachnani shansan || Aa vachyasv chamvoH pooymaano vichakshano jaagrvirdevveetau|| 5|| Bhadra - vastra - samanya - vasaanH - mahaan - Kavir - nivachnani - shansan - aavachyasv - chamvoH - pooymaanH - vichakshanH - jagrviH - Dev - veetau|| Translation: (VichakshanH) Clever people (aavachyasv) through their speeches, instead of telling the true path of the way of worship of Purna Brahm, by directing towards the worship of others, in place of nectar, (pooymaanH) pus from a boil in the form of the worship of others [like, ghost-worship, Pitra-worship, worship of the three gunas {Rajgun-Brahma, Satgun-Vishnu, Tamgun-Shankar} and worship of Brahm-Kaal] (chamvoH) are respectfully making sip the wrong knowledge (bhadra) the supremehappiness-giving (mahaan Kavir ) Supreme God Kabir (vastra) in a body in an ordinary attire i.e. {the meaning of 'vastra' is 'attire' - in saint language, it is also called 'chola'. Chola means body. Like, if a saint leaves his body, then it is said that Mahatma has left his chola}, (samanya) acquiring another body made up of mass of lights [tejpunj] similar to that of Satyalok (vasaanH) by spending life like a common man and living in the world for a few days (nivachnani) by means of his Shabdavali1 , the true knowledge (shansan ) by explaining (Dev) of the Supreme God (veetau) hidden Sargun-Nirgun knowledge (jagrviH) awakens/brings awareness about.❤ Who is complete God according to ORTHODOX JEWISH BIBLE? Iyov 36:5 - Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB) See, El is Kabir, and despiseth, not any; He is Kabir in ko’ach lev (strength of understanding). Translation: Supreme God is Kabir, but despises no one. He is Kabir, and firm in his purpose. In all Bible translations, the word Kabir has been translated as "Mighty" or "Great" whereas Kabir is the original name of Supreme God. Conclusion: This verse of the Bible proves that Kabir is Complete God. The one who worships God Kabir by taking initiation from the complete saint sent by him gets complete salvation. After attaining salvation that souls rest in peace in the eternal abode Satlok forever. The throne of God is in Satlok( ETERNAL PLACE) 😊😊 God Kabir met Jesus and took his soul to Satlok. On their way, God Kabir made him see his ancestors David, Moses, Abraham, etc. in the Pitra Lokas. Then God took him to Satlok❤ PRESENT MESSENGER of ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR is SAINT RAMPALJI MAHARAJ 🙏🙏

Hey I’m sorry to hear about your partner of 52 years - that’s a very long time, natural to miss but remember what you had was precious and more than so many others ever have. Not that it makes your pain any less but I’m sending you courage in the face of your loss. I’ve heard that when we lose a loved one they are not here in the physical sense but our relationship continues on a different Plane - still revolving but differently - does that make sense to you? Or am I spouting platitudes? Lmk X

Still is. ❤ This is a beautiful story and so is my family's life story. ❤

Greetings to you from Guyana. It's amazing to see this successful couple from diverse backgrounds lead such a blessed life of togetherness for over four decades. This is exceptional when compared in this modern age we're living in. I would think it has had to do with the upbringing of them both in their formative years. So it was that synergy of unconditionality that had made them compatible for each other. As a person of Indian origin certain values were instilled in me too. I wish them both longer life of health, happiness and just plain great time of being each other company. Thanks too to you Verona for creating these videos.

For the last 20 years I have been married to my wonderful wife Thaiduong. I was born in Chicago in1977 to immigrant parents from India. I was raised Hindu Tamil Brahmin Iyer... except that I was raised in the USA, and I view myself as American. I have never held a passport from India...only the USA. In 2004, I married Thaiduong in Vietnam. At that time, she was my girlfriend of nearly 4 years. We are still married today, and resident in Arizona. Thaiduong was raised Roman Catholic, and as a person in Ho Chi Minh City of South Vietnamese Mekong Delta background. She immigrated to USA and became a USA citizen. We still love each other very deeply, and want to continue to be together. She is still Catholic and Vietnamese. I am still officially Hindu, but have adopted Buddhism, and of Indian background, but am American. So you can make it work. Just gotta be ready to learn. BTW, my in-laws in Vietnam love me, and have only good things to say about me.

Hindu - got it, that's your religious affiliation Tamil - got it, that's the mother tongue of your parents/you Brahmin Iyer - ok this is the caste. You know the meaning of caste. unlike religion and language, this one is so tricky. Why do you need to mention your caste? Do you have kids with your Vietnamese wife? Are they also Brahmin Iyer or Brahmin Iyernamese? No matter how many decades pass, how many countries we indians migrate to, this caste identity thing is not going away.

@@electrology who are you to curtail his thoughts? You are the one with the problem, not him. You could have easily chosen to ignore it and moved on, but no, you had to make it a point to comment and thrust your opinion here. You're being extremely disrespectful if you didn't realize. Tamil Brahmins are ETHNICALLY DIFFERENT to the rest of Tamilians, their culture and community is completely different, their rituals are different. The only thing they have in common with other Tamilians is the language Tamil and even that is so different that Brahmin Tamil could be called its own language. With such a DISTINCT ethnic background, why should he efface his identity so your snowflake heart wouldn't be offended somehow?

I love the way this couple accommodated eachothers religion. I guess being in California helped. Americans have experience getting along with people of different faiths and backgrounds. That's truly what makes America great. These guys were also patient and of similar minds and hearts ❤❤. Of course, employment and education help any relationship. Patience is a virtue too.
