Nice explanation based on your experience i have the same symptoms on a samsung device when powered on or removed from charger it's stuck on 100mA and nothing shows on screen it takes 0.6A on charge but before was taking 1.6A. It's a water damaged device it was showing a warning message for overheating issue and the recent/return buttons don't work either i am glad that i saved the whole data off of it when i had the chance to boot it after i removed some thermistor off the board but now it's just dead, so is the warning message for overheating was due to the emmc itself and does a dead emmc prevent the phone from starting? (someone told me if the emmc is dead it will show a green screen when the phone turns on) also i sprayed the board with lighter gas to freeze it and powered it on and the emmc showed up with heat starting from upper side corner, i may try a reflow as a last attempt

Green screen in samsung mostly caused by CPU, you just need to reball the CPU.

It happens because when the phone is over heat, the CPU is slightly disconnect some pins because the CPU is attached with glue which can make it loosing easily.

Hi brother. I have samsung a5 2017 (SM-A520F). The phone is stuck in downloading mode, it says ( Downloading.... Do not turn off target). And im trying to fix it with flashed using Odin, But its always fail. And get notice in odin like "Repartition operation failed". I tried many time but getting that problem. Did you know what the issues? Thats doesnt get problem with the Emmc? Or what Please help me

Hi bro. Emmc lifetime issue causes some failures, etc. stuck logo, keep restarting, lagging, and dead. If you have tried to flash but it failed, thats 99% needs emmc chip peplacement or repartition. But repartition will not last long, in some cases it last only 3 days usage. So replacement is better. The Replacement of emmc is so much technical, you can't do on your own unless you have the tool and the emmc programmer box.

What about EDL(Flash mode) disconnect after 1 second but fastboot doesn't have problem

Might be bad connection. Make sure it has firm connection for each socket. What type of phone btw ?

sir my old samsung note phone shown kernel problem msg at start and no working ..so i tried to install frimware using odin.........but it stuck and stopped during step of chash memory....and stopped in download mode....then i also try to do that again...but a blur download mode screen came and dissapeear....now my phone is only black screen no download mod no kernel msg.....no start ...is it emcc problem or cpu or other problem?

Try the next step, flashing using 'Muslim odin' it's more powerful than any other flasher software. If the problem persist happen, maybe your internal memory is weak and need replacement.

First thank you so much ❤ I learnt from U if gage power supply on 0.1-0.6 that means the problem on emmc to be sure from that we connect test point and during phone connected with pc if I find port 9008 or mediateck or usb1.0 Huawei...I will conclude the cpu and power circuit work good...is this correct? my English is weak please tell me by replying to me

Hi friend very well video. I have a cell xiaomi redmi 5 that when you power on it goes 125ma then it stay or stuck sometimes 65ma others 43ma. I have check all voltages pmic and are fine only miss a 0.8volts that goes to cpu. But not exactly know if it goes later activated for RF or modem. Also have to check this of your video or check if i have comunication cpu emmc with osciloscope tomorrow. What do you think?? Emmc!!!

@@nuhacell9970 the status Is like an error. That the computer see It buy as of It were driver problem.if the emmc or with the emmc It Is Always the same. For me Is the emmc. Tell me something. Doesn't worth buying a new emmc.? I have to reprogram the emmc putting the rom or software inside.

If i take off eMMC from Motorola one vision and solder it to exactly same model Motorola One vision. Wil the eMMC with existing data work on new Motorola one vision?

I never done that, so I am not sure it wil work or not, but it is worth it to give it a try. However, It depends on the model as well. May be it will work o mediatek chipset.

I’m just trying to rescue my data by buying exactly same model Motorola one Vision and to put my water damaged phones eMMC on this new working One Vision. I watched a ton of videos how to transfer the eMMC, but no one can answer if the eMMC will work on the new phone/motherboard.

@@nuhacell9970 Im not a technician at all. Never done it before. But so far i bought: - multimeter - solder station - solder iron - flux - desoldering iron - Same model phone - 99.9% alcohol - a new battery to replace the old one - a phone repair set
