Honestly, with Titan being the big threat it was in the asylum, I think it’s fitting for the last boss fight to be a titan battle. And seeing as the mastermind behind Titan in the first place, it would make sense for Titan Joker to be the final battle… The main problem was the execution. Even if he was just a Titan henchman with extra hell, I think it would’ve helped the battle in terms of gameplay. However, I will say in terms of narrative it is important for the ongoing series and I do like how it highlights joker’s vanity

If you look at concept art of Joker in Arkham Asylum, he himself was supposed to be dressed as an asylum doctor to go with Harley Quinn's nurse outfit, and his titan form was supposed to be all spindly to line up with how drastically different his henchmen's changes were to Poison Ivy's. If Rocksteady had just gone with that, Asylum's finale would have been all the more brilliant.

I think people fail to realize Joker is the main antagonist of all 4 games, including Knight. Scarecrow is used as a tool in the story to put the joker in it, to essentially bring him back to life.

To be fair it's not the first time Joker got hulked up on Bane's steroid juice just look at the 2004 cartoon show. Though speaking of Rocksteady it's honestly sad the company has lost a lot of respect from fans for how Suicide Squad was handled.....

Story wise its great gameplay wise its a horrible fight but its not a disappointing ending and it makes sense for his charecter

You actually kinda make good points lol. Titan Joker was the perfect conclusion for Arkham Asylum (conceptually). He spends the entire game mutating everyone with Titan. It only makes sense that he eventually uses it on himself. He wanted Batman to let loose just like him. "Two freaks in a fight to the death!" Just wish the fight itself didn't suck though. I wish you fought him more directly instead of running from him and fighting goons instead. Also I wish the camera stayed closer like normal instead of pulled so far back so you could really soak in how huge Joker is compared to you.
