The Honolulu Stadium here has been closed for years pending demolition and redevelopment. Towards the end, it was used as a venue for high school graduations. The parking lot is still used for the Hawai'i 50th State Fair. In contrast, this Comerica Park is a lively place that people seem to want to visit! Mahalo for sharing it with us. Aloha!

Nice to see you know your roar in 84' history and player's. Being the Reds are your favorite team, with Sparky being their best coach, I can see why. 35 and 5 never to look back in 84' with Lou, Alan, Jack, Lance, kirk, chet, Milt, Dan, Howard, Rusty, Tom, Larry, Marty, Johhny, Willie, Darrell, Dave, Doug, Ruppert, Glenn. If you know you dont need last names, especially that season. I was 20 yrs old that year, with the World Series and the debut of Steve Yzerman, it was a great year. My family and I were at that game. We just lucked into a great pitching matchup. I really enjoyed your vlog. Come for the electronic music fest on memorial day weekend. If you like that type of thing it's a great time with people coming from all over the world. The city turns into a giant dance club.

Great video Buddy! I went to a Tigers game one the last times I was back home visiting, and didn’t see nearly as much of the interesting stuff you did. Very cool ballpark! So much to see. I have to add it to my list of ballparks to see a game. The Tigers have been around since 1894 and the Cubs 1870. That is along time. On the wall with the names, Cobb was the only player with no number. Do you happen to know why? We are Cubs & Tigers fans in our family and have been for years. Thanks for this really great vlog. You always come up with the most interesting places. Definitely need to go to Tiger Stadium now...

@@markbrowne9896 I've been al Loan closing agent for almost 30 years I shouldn't give out too much information but 2 years ago I refied him he's got a lot of properties more than 10 in Michigan I didn't realize who I was seeing. He'll probably remember me for the rest of his life. At the closing table I said that sounds like the name of a baseball player... And he said yes that's what I do... I'm from California I've lived here for 30 years but but for some reason I thought he played for the Angels so I said so do you play for the Angels? He said no I play for the Detroit Tigers! He actually met his wife who was the loan originator for his primary residence. Nice family! He got a good chuckle out of me that figures!

Comerica is designed to give fans heat strokes on hot summer days. Half the seats are baked in sun. Decent park, but horrible to attend games in. Baking in that sun is more like a pow camp in 1944...

I hate the netting. I understand behind home plate but the netting along the baselines is terrible. If people would pay attention to the game and stop looking at their phone all the time it wouldn't be needed. Baseball was fine for over 100 years without netting.
