🇪🇨 Why Travel to Cuenca Ecuador? Food, Markets, Turi, Nightlife

Prepare a cup of tea and get ready to see more of Cuenca Ecuador in 2024 June/ July.
I'll show you the famous Calle Larga in the daytime and what to do, then show you the same place with Nightlife. As a walk around vlogging you will get to see and experience it with me, so we visit 10th August Market for traditional eateries and restaurants where locals dine, I always love to try new things and get the full plastic chair experience. interested in the panama hat museum? ( I know they aren't called that don't worry) its in another of my videos, the full tour.
Ofcourse I had to visit a church as this is a catholic country so you will see the amazing views from the top. See the Broken Bridge and the Tomebamba river (very relaxing vibes here). Also see the Escalinata Juana Del Oro Steps which I'm sure you have seen on google before (literally just steps but they looks cool as there is a tree in the middle).
Finally I will show you where to get the best views of all of Cuenca Ecuador, in Turi. Then finish off with a some food and a walk across the Crystal Bridge with 360 views.
Cuenca is home to alot of American Expats. I can see why they considered this city for their retirement.

How do you think a 52 year old retired single dude would like living in Cuenca, would one get bored? Thinking of visiting in a few months to check out.

@@JCMovingtoEcuador honestly I think you'd like it, most things are here that you might want. Definitely worth a visit to see for yourself. The Americans seem to be enjoying it. I just met another guy who moved there and he pretty much decided that would be his base within a week

@@AronXplores thanks man. Seems like the info points to American retirees mostly love it in Cuenca. Im almost ready to pull the trigger for a ticket to come down for two months for pre visit, if not like can bolt over to Colombia where I lived for two years and know a blast, but looking for a change where settle down. Keep up with the videos, great work!

@@JCMovingtoEcuador that's a good point actually, I did see mainly older Americans, like 60 and over. Apparently there is an area called gringoland (look on Google) and that's where they all buy their houses in Cuenca. I guess it's hard to say for definite if it's for you as we all look for different things. I appreciate the love my friend cheers

@@JCMovingtoEcuador It depends on where you've lived before and what you're looking for, it's not a big city but it's a nice place and there's a good amount to see I prefer the historic center to being out there with expats or the other side of the river, though the area west of the stadium I liked Where did you live in Colombia?

@@AronXplores yah, I think it's a hard call not being on ground. Luckily Ecuador looks amazing and even if did a two month trip and didn't wanna settle would be an amazing experience to have.
