@@DropkickCommute several reasons. 1. The reasons for the heel turn is weak. It makes MJF look like a pussy which is pretty fucked up considering last year he spent his title reign getting the shit kicked outta him and coming back to win his title matches 2. Aside from swerve Strickland (and even thats debatable with how hes featured recently) theres no top babyfaces in the mens division on the main event scene and before you say garcia, he barely has any drawing power at the moment and only just started getting that back 3. Christian cage is a better heel. And he gets real heat. This might be a little selfish of me to admit but babyface MJF vs this current version of captian charisma might bring some much needed veiws back to the product. 4. I have no idea whats going on with adam cole but tony just kinda shit all over the idea that fued was gonna continue. To me they should have probably had that happen and it would have been fued of the year.. but no hes....wrestling a match with no story at forbidden door and killing and eating Daniel garcia. And 4. We've seen the peak of MJF as a heel but i feel like we havent seen him do as much as a babyface.

Honestly all very valid points. I wonder if they let the MJF baby face cook a little bit more since his return if it would end up going well? His run with Adam Cole last year was very face run, but I think it only worked because of that dynamic and I think it could only work right now WITH that dynamic. Like you said though, who knows what’s going on with Adam

@@DropkickCommute i dont see why we shouldn't explore more options in that realm i mean.. MJF is still sorta over. No one wants to boo him really so why not right?

Honestly I do think he should’ve turned heel, he’s the best when he is one. What confuses me is why no build up? He was pretty over as a face, as soon as he comes back has a quick match with rush and turns heel. Was sorta expecting more time and more of a build but it is what it is. MJF is still my favourite in Aew
