A lady told me she requested a Lyft and a cab showed up. Apparently, they have a deal with taxi drivers - who are probably paid a lot higher than us, plus they aren't using their own fuel or cars all day. Their profit margins would be higher than a contractor like us. Most cabs (if not all) can't decline a ride if their company dispatches them for a pickup. They're getting paid, no matter what, as the deal is between the taxi company and Uber, not the taxi driver and Uber. They have someone fighting for them, collectively. We are all independent and have no unionization in a fight against any app.

Uber deactivated my account after over 6 years 8,100 trips. 4.9 rating. Because they say I broke community guidelines for protecting myself when I was being attacked. I never put my hands on nobody to hurt them. I merely moved this ladies feet out of my doorway jumped in my car a pulled off. It was the most horrible thing that ever happened to me. She gat upset because I wouldn't roll up my window so she racially attacked called me the n word a black b and wished my children dead then spit on me. I gat out my car to call 911 and as I did that the crazy women begin to attack my car. She dragged herself to my front seat banging on my dashboard and pulling my steering wheel so hard while also using it to pull herself over to the front seat. Then she lied and told the cops I robbed her. Straight nutball. I say all this to say Uber never once had my back. I even asked them to go half with me on a dashcam back in February or March back when that lady was killed by that monster. They declined to help me. Whats crazy is I purchased a dash cam and it came a week after this incident. It happened may 2 2022. Since then I've been lost and looking for another way to earn. I have a disability well I like to say there's just some stuff I can't do. But it's hard to find a 9 to 5 with my issues. Uber worked for me because I could do it around the clock and around my pain. It worked for six long years. Now it's over. And all they can say is so what. You didn't have the right to protect yourself. Everything gat withdrawn in court because I'm sure the lady didn't want the world to hear this story. The horrific things this women said to me and then spit on me and then try to attack me again. And Uber still deactivated me. They don't care about none of us. I done developed anxiety driving people around it terrifies me now. I don't know what to do. I'm afraid I'm going to lose house. I've been trying to find a stay at home job but it seems I keep running into scammers or qualifications that's beyond y resume. An entry level data entry is what I'm looking for. I'm good a customer service too. But I can't be on the phone all day. If anyone has any ideas for me I would love to hear them. In the meantime any blessings are welcome. Uber could care less about their drivers because if they deactivate you there is always someone else to take your place. The rating system has always been bias against the driver, it's your word against the rider, and they always believe the rider..... they can say anything about you, Uber and Lyft does nothing verify the validity of the complaint. The only thing Uber understands is litigation, if you get deactivated get a lawyer involved.

I've been doing uber for about a month and out of 10 customer ratings I have 8 thumbs up and only 2 thumbs down and now they're saying I'm at 80% at risk of getting deactivated and at this point I don't care anymore because 1. Uber are ripping drivers off by paying them a measly amount of money for long distance trips and 2.their entire system on how they do business sucks! If we're independent contractors then why do they fire drivers 🤷‍♂️

I just got deactivated while on the job. I had just finished dropping off a rider and I got kicked. I checked my messages and it said that there was a claim that my vehicle had a mechanical issue. So, for safety reasons Uber deactivated my account. Now I have to go get an inspection to prove there’s nothing wrong even though whoever made the claim had no proof, nor any specifics as to what was wrong with my vehicle. And Uber support is basically siding with the rider. Garbage.

So Uber can discriminate against the first amendment by deactivating because of what we say. Interesting 🤔

I got two bogus complaints. 5 star rating and no complaints in over 300 rides. To butt holes didn’t want to pay. Now I turn on Uber audio and record on my car camera. Two complaints in SF in one day. I had an teachnical issue yesterday with my mobile data service when I accepted a delivery. My phone completely froze and I had to close everything down in order to restart and allow my device to work promptly. Thus, my uber eats app was closed and turned on again to deliver the accepted delivery. I have not misused or manipulated the gps system, it was a teachnical mobile issue,after I got back home notice I couldn’t use feature on the app and therefore I couldn’t could remove this flag as I dispute this. Exactly I had a warning that I was going to be permanently deactivated so I booth my ratings up to a 4.60. The next day, I went down to a 4.59. The next day I tried everything to bring my ratings up to a 4.60 like I did everything that I could, and try to follow what Uber taught me.. When I did my last ride I went to the gas station turn my app off, when 1 tired to go back on, it said that my account needs attention, so next morning I got an email saying that I can no longer dive with Uber. I emailed them and they told me that my account is ineligible for reactivation, it can be upsetting, but decisions are final. But i needed back my account, I met "orwadecyber” they have done me a great favour. I’m pleased to deal with you,thanks for the recovery

For 2 weeks I have been providing all kinds of possible documents to be approved again, but in the end what I realized was a lack of commitment on your part of Uber.

I've been driving for Uber Eats since June. I've done 800 delivers and my customer satisfaction rate is at 98% | get an email from Uber stating they deactivated my account because l've been taking "unusual longer delivering customers orders" Um.... ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS???? How the hell is my fault that I'm waiting 30mins for the restaurant to hurry up and make the damn food. It's the holidays, restaurants are slammed packed and there's traffic. I think it's pretty fucked up how they can deactivate someone's account literally for no reason. Uber really doesnt give two shits about us. l've already asked them to do an appeal... I have to wait 3 to 5 business days for them to get back with me. So what the hell am I supposed to do til then? This is delivery driver for Uber Eats. Been working there for 2 years. I've had over 3500 deliveries, no tickets. No accidents work 6 to 7 days a week. It's a good company I like it if I didn't care for it. I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing, I'm doing. It's a good company back in the month of May. And maybe part of June there was a lot of graduation going on. I live here in Kentucky and part of Southern Indiana. And there's a lot of food orders. They, we're running late, and they're because there was no drivers and pick them up sometimes 2 to 3 hours. And when the customer gets their food light, they may be calling and complain. They're about food late. My last 2 deliveries were in Southern Indiana. We're talking about 1 or 2 in the morning. I got the calls form. I picked him up on time as far as I knew. And customers got their food and next thing I know. They were my rating went from a 92 in the month of. May of this year and June down to just before deactivation 2 and 80. Fi think I did a really good job but did what I was asked to do now on the other side of this coin. I've done a number of deliveries attempted pickups at restaurants that according to Uber, they were open. I went several miles on my way. And after everything was said and done I am called in or textin ball. The rules I said I want my 3 to $5. Reimbursemand I never really, really got it. And there was time for you know. We'll give a survey or your thoughts on how you're delivery. Opinions are on Uber when I gave my opinion to straight opinion. Might have been supportive been motivated or critical. Who knows? But that's what an opinion is with any community guidelines and all this is the things I hear about this. You know, and there are orders out there. That are very, very low pay, and it's low pay of delay. It's Lopez deliveries in high college. And there's a number times where the order would say. Hey, look for 15 dollars, including a tip. The company is a good company, but if you're not gonna reimburse your drivers, there's low pay and high knowledge. After a while gets old and sometimes I would ask for an opinion. You know how you're driving experience your earnings? I mean, you're just giving opinion and some of it's critical and I don't like it well the world's out of perfect place. I like Uber, but just saying, I'm being deactivated. Going from a 92 down to an 85 within a couple months periods, and it has nothing to do with your driving or your experience tickets or accidentake a terrorist, and it's just for whatever reason, it's trying to get rid of me to experience drivers. UBER are working Against the Drivers, especially when it comes to the Ratings, Acceptance rate, Cancellation and payment, and not to forget the customer support has a WRITTEN statements to answer your questions or complaint, You drive more than 30 trips and it does Not show on your rating, while ONE trip with a RUDE passenger get your rating down. I believe they Discriminate against the drivers and they are making Millions of $$$ every day because of the drivers, BUT they are Rude to the drivers..

Why so many fake comments?

So I had an investigation done about 2 1/2 weeks ago, that got straightened out. Then when I tried to go back onto my account I was being told my account was locked. Then I tried to contact the support and was told numerous things that I needed a new inspection report, that my rider portion is not working so that's why I'm not able to go onto the driver side, that I had duplicate accounts. Sucks rn lost hope but finally i got someone who recommended me to Orwadecyber there team was more understanding and competent of what I was saying and they escalated it to there software engineering team and make sure that both my driver account and rider accounts were fine and working properly now.

I was accused of fraud cause the picture of my insurance card looked suspicious. I made an appointment to the nearest office and talked to a representative. Showed her my license and insurance card were legit. Yet, she proceeded to tell me they couldn't do anything. What?!

If cancelling on airport riders is a reason, I must be hanging on by a thread. It's all good though. I refuse to travel 30 miles to an address with zero demand. If Uber previewed all the trips, this wouldn't be a problem for drivers or riders.

After doing a survey for my Ubereats experience, which I rated overall not good, I'm serious, I only got 2 calls the following day. What really struck me was I asked, "How likely are you to drive for Uber next month?". I replied not likely because I will not due fully retiring. So my instinct tells me they use this data to screen drivers for productivity reasons. I've been driving for (food only) for 6 years.

Well I got my account closed because of a unhappy customer McDonald’s didn’t get his order right so he told Uber that I was riding in a car but really I walk to him because my bike died on me after I got done with that order I call my girl friend to come and pick me up and soon I got into the car he’s calling me telling me that I got his order wrong I’m saying u should go talk to McDonald’s about your problem then he said he got me after that I login to my account and my ratings went to 100 to 45 😢 man that’s not right I got kids to take care of

I just got my account blocked. I have a 4.8 star rating. I think I know why I got banned, it’s cause I live near NYC, but I live in Jersey. And most of the drivers don’t want to pay $16 for toll to NYC. That’s why I cancel the ride.
