Hmm.. supreme court has to be kept in check... we have to learn from history. Also, modi ji has to make sure that execution is done properly. As we can learn from Indira episode, she and sanjay gandhi had real good ideas but implementation was too aggressive and hence failed. But one thing which I liked that trains came on time and no riots during emergency, that is some achievement

Well done times u socialism to curve down some people's monopoly best example is Japan is after ww2 US led government in Japan use socialists policy to curve the power of land lords then they adopt capitalism, same with Argentina when Argentina was capitalist British oil company just looted them so no policy is right and wrong but u should have idea when and where u have to implement which policy so when Indira Gandhi came power she did right by imposing socialism but we should open market in mid or early 80s and I think if Indira ji alive Lil bit more then India would open economy in mid 80s because she favours business and like Dhirubhai Ambani, Tata and so on even she ask Ambani to help her to host India a successful wc but the things turn when Pappu square means Rajiv Gandhi become pm he was against some buisnessmen.

Agree to disagree with your statement. In the past 75 years since independence, various PMs and their govts have also run this country, if not then we wouldve collapsed as a nation which we didnt. In my humble opinion, India n Indians need to stop looking for Singham kind of leaders and instead strive for/ demand a system of governance with transparency and accountability to all citizens, only then can this or any country can truly prosper.

Without Emergency, what has happened for Mujib would have happened for Indira Gandhi, as she was in the target of the CIA. In India we had a number of politicians who had links with CIA: Morarji Desai, Jag Jivan Ram, and Jayprakash Narayan. They were all involved in political agitation just before the Emergency with Jah Jivan Ram was inside the Congress Party.

We can become independent in one of the most crucial sectors if ccs provides funds at right time , drdo and hal dont improve their development speed and army doesn't demand drdo and hal to put everthing at once in all systems and slowly induct those and then improve them slowly with drdo and others . and also not giving private sectors oppurtunity. We have already delayed programs like AMCA , ORCA , Project 75(i), LCA MK2 , MMRCA /MRFA. Turkey has already started taxi trials of their 5th gen foghter , their drones are gaining global popularity .
