This video shows " What was the need of making Guru Granth Sahib Ji by Guru Gobind Singh Ji since it's first version Adi Granth was already made by Guru Arjan Dev Ji.
It took more than 200 years (from 1469 to 1708) by Sikh Gurus to establish Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in the current form. The final form of Guru Granth Sahib Ji was completed by Guru Gobind Singh Ji which is known as Sampurnta Diwas Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Guru Granth Sahib was first compiled by the Fifth Guru, Shri Arjan Dev Ji, in 1604 in the city of Amritsar. It is known as Adi Granth. Its second and last version was the handwork of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and it was finalized at Damdama Sahib in the year 1705. He added the hymns of his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur, the Ninth Master, and a couplet of his own to the volume wrought a century earlier. It is known as Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This Holy book is more than just a scripture of the Sikhs, for the Sikhs regard and respect the Granth as their living Guru. When one visits a Gurdwara (a Sikh temple), the Guru Granth Sahib forms the main part of the Darbar Sahib or Main Hall.
