Kingdom Hearts Union X has been out for quite sometime and there has been one character that has everyone wondering why he was in the game. His name is ventus and today we talk about his origin

Hoxenshattered question, was xehanort alive during the union x? Is that how he recruited marluxia and the gang? Are marluxia, demyx, larxene and luxord the reincarnations of the foretellers or just their nobodies, or are they not related at all? Plz answer i am so confused

This is why you need to know the story of all the games to understand kh I was so confused when I saw chirithy run to Ventus at the end of the game I didn’t know he was in union x cuz I barely played it

Luckily one of my friends told me right before I played the game to watch videos on Union x before playing the game since he received it early and like you said I defiantly see why now lol

Hoxenshattered I didn’t think a mobile game would have anything this big though lol. I still should brush back up on the lore of the games too. I’m still a little confused on why venitus and Sora look and alike and why ventus and roxas look alike. I always wondered this since bbs. At first I just thought it was because of lazy character design but now I think it was done on purpose cuz of Dora’s reaction to seeing venitus face.

Scizor I knew it would be important once I saw it was taking place during the time of the keyblade war. Vanitas looks like Sora I think because ventus found Sora’s heart when his other half of his heart was taken by xehanort thus the dark half of ventus ( vanitas ) took the form of Sora. While roxas looks like ventus because he took the look of ventus do to him residing in Sora’s heart. Lol it’s confusing but once it’s learned it’s actually pretty simple

Hoxenshattered Lol I can understand roxas and ventus but I’m lost on venitus and Sora simply because I don’t remember ventus meeting Sora till after he was split and venitus was around since the beginning of bbs

Scizor basically vanitas didn’t gain a face till ventus found Sora’s heart and once that happened vanitas took on Sora’s face. I really wish they would’ve clarified it more in kh3 but they are probably saving it for the next saga....maybe

Ventus had the missing ache keyblade in union cross. He likely didn't age because the dandelions were stored in a data realm. If you notice when you're doing pvp, instead of just having characters enter the arena, they take form as cells of data come together. They're basically in a time suspension while the keyblade war is happening. Marluxia woke up/left the datarealm years before ven and ended up losing his heart as an adult which is why he aged and ven didn't.

Well its confirmed that his 16 in birth by sleep stated by Nomura and he told us the ages of the birth by sleep trio,So since ven looks a bit younger I'm going to guess his 13 or 12.

Sora's Girlfriend he could possibly be 12 or 13 because we have to also remember he spent time with xehanort as well. But was he 16 during the mark of mastery exam or 16 when he arrived at the land of departure ?

Did Ventus have his memories of the original world erased? Which of the Dandelions had their memories of the previous world erased? How is Ventus not centuries old? Who killed Strelitizia? These are questions that need to be answered.

There are ALOT of questions still but I’m happy about that because it keeps me interested in the story. I would’ve felt pretty empty if we would’ve been going into the next saga with no questions or information being thrown at us. But I would assume Ven does have some of his memories because he remembered chirity. Unless he was just being friendly to it at the end of Kh3

Ventus had his ♥ broken which is why he looks doll like due to vanitus being formed. Xehanort is 😲 of him summoning the keyblade due to believing his ♥ is to broken to form one like at the end of bbs when his heart sleeps his keyblade breaks

I can't follow you on this theory. Mostly because all the Dandelions were keyblade wielders. Ven may also be humble as well. Instead of bragging he's good, he says he isn't good at anything. With that said, I'm more inclined to what I've dubbed the City of Darklings theory. This theory states that Ventus as well as others moved to another world in order to get away from DayBreak Town after the keyblade war. While there, they transformed the world into a sleeping world where the Union X currently exists. In untold number of years, Xehanort exploring the universe comes across this world and saves the survivors.

KewlImp yeah that could be that he took them from the dream world but since they were in the dream world, my part about ventus not remembering anything from that time period could be the cause of being in that dream state for so long or could just be from xehanort taking only ventus ( seeing his potential ) and separating him from his other self/ dark half

You can only go back in time to your time. Also you can only time travel if you lost your heart and got it back.

Terra Sky true and I was just discussing how it may just be Ventus getting stuck in the sleeping world and xehanort probably fetched him out or someone else did

I don't know if it was part of the FINAL story of union cross, but there was a set of gummi missions in unchained key (xi, whatever) where Donald, goofy, I think mickey, and chip and dale crashed a gummi ship into Daybreak Town. That fkd me up 10 years ago when I actually played the game cuz it was supposed to be the "ancient past." Not to mention all the Disney characters in the Disney worlds. I know they explain this later but it was still confusing in the early days of the game..

Jake Astl no because even when he was training with Xehanort he didn’t remember his past and it’s still the same Ventus because in Union X he didn’t mind fighting but now that he trained with Xehanort he was hesitant like something in his mind was holding him back from fighting. He most likely was thinking of when he actually fights for real his darker side comes out and he didn’t want that to happen

I thought the reason Ventus is so messed up in the beginning of BBS is because Xahanort forcefully extracted the darkness out of him, causing his heart to break or something like that?

Chelsea T partially yeah, but also because he lost all of his memories from the events of UX as well. Xehanort knee of the darkness in Ven’s heart so when Ven wouldn’t show it to him that’s when xehanort took out that darkness and named it vanitas. But yeah you are correct on why he was messed up in the beginning of the game

Because It happened before the birth by sleep and also it's a kingdom hearts game it's not a kingdom hearts game if someone doesn't forget anything(I don't know)and also it's not a kh game if it doesn't ad more questions to the players

Exactly lol, its either they get amnesia or they just have really bad memory. But I had made a Ventura/vanitas theory that adds in to this theory on why ventus doesn’t really remember anything from his past

I actually wonder if maybe it was reincarnation because at the end of kingdom hearts three Xigbar is referred to as Luxu and if he was ripped from the past Ventus lost his memories when Xehanort stripped his darkness from him and made Vanitas but that is just my theory and opinion

I think they should have just left the whole Union X story and main game seperate, its not that bad to have a game thats just fun for lore. But not required, its so tiring that Nomura has to connect everything.

My theory is that Ventus is Roxas. Just from an alternate universe. If Sora is MoM then it would make perfect sense that Ven is actually his Roxas. Missing Ache even looks like a combo of Oblivion and Oath Keeper, and can be wielded by Roxas and Xion. Not to mention Ventus’ theme has so many qualities of Roxas’ just broken up.
