Last year was the first time we ordered our chicks online. We tried welp hatchery. Used them again this year. Our Cornish meat birds arrived yesterday and our layers will be here tomorrow. We bought our turkeys from tractor supply.

We like Murray mcMurray for egg layers but get our meat birds from Freedom Ranger. 120, all males at $1.35/ea is fantastic. Third year with Freedom Ranger. Great success for us.

I've ordered from just about every major hatchery (McMurray, Ideal, Cackle, Hoover, Mt. Healthy, etc) and have had good experiences with them all.

Very helpful video, helps dispel people's fears and your success is great. Also if people don't want to buy chicks can also hatch them at home.

Great video and so timely. We just got a call from the post office to say our Guinea hens have arrived. Lol. And perfect timing so have the ticks lol. Keep up the great work.

Great video Jack! We’ve had chickens for six years and for the first time we ordered a mystery box of 30 from Cackle Hatchery and every single one was alive and healthy. They’re about 6 weeks old now and the only problem we had was their vents had to be cleaned daily for about the first week or so.

We love Murray McMurray Hatchery not only do we get the best chicks but if you need to communicate with them either by e-mail or phone they take care of you immediately and that alone is worth a fortune!

I have only used Ideal hatchery, but they include shipping in the awesome prices, and have Great customer service.

I love the ducks from metzer farms. I ordered some freedom rangers from freedom ranger hatchery. I'll have to see how they do

WHY NOT REPRODUCE YOUR OWN BIRDS?, THE NOT BEING ABLE TO REPRODUCE CORNISH CROSS CHICKENS IS A MYTH, MY CORNISH CROSS ARE LAYING ALREADY, BUT MY ROOSTER IS NOT MATURE ENOUGH YET.

They are a hybrid cross. The chicks will not grow fast like the parents.

@@TheMindfulHomestead Well, im going to find out, I was told they would not survive to lay eggs = wrong, I was told they would have leg problems that would stop them from moving =wrong, and once I breed them, I'll come back and tell you if your wrong as well, For some weird reason I usually win when betting on myself lol.
