WHY WE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TOWN IN SHROPSHIRE: We have fallen in love with Ludlow// Before we're going into a 4 week lockdown in England, Joerg and I went on a last outing to Ludlow in Shropshire. We explored Ludlow Castle and afterwards the beautiful market town. It's so very British with the most beautiful houses and a unique atmosphere. We have fallen in love with another English town, such a gem. Kirsten & Joerg

BTW... Who would give these guys a thumbs down? These are kind and generous people who only demonstrate love for their adopted country and each other. Shame on you, thumbs down people! I challenge you to do better! Plus if you don't like this sort of thing than surf away because there are people who love these guys just the way they are! Love to you both.

Sometimes you hit a thumbs down by accident.. (I’ve done it myself).. they are very close together, depending on the device you are using. Perhaps they don’t know that they can ‘undo’ it by hitting it again..?? Which is usually how I get out of MY predicament caused by my fat fingers. Don’t be too hard on them. Thank you Kirsten & Joerg for great videos.

@@miachambers830 good point Mia! I shouldn’t have jumped to a negative conclusion. I’ve been guilty of Fat Finger Syndrome. Actually, in my naivety I thought I had been creative by referring to it as FFS. Then, one day at work we had an online meeting and I made a typing mistake and (we were sharing screens and typing messages) and I typed FFS after my error. There was silence and my Team Leader (who knew, along with the rest of the Team of my “acronym”) started laughing and had to explain to the other person online that it wasn’t THAT acronym! I was non the wiser and my TL and colleague (who was also in the room with me) explained! I was mortified! They could’ve told me when I first started using the acronym! We laugh about it now …btw. I no longer refer to my typing errors as FFS 😂

I live here. I never want to be anywhere else. I watch the sun go down over Titterstone Clee Hill most evenings since I first opened my eyes and I can see the castle from my landing window. We love having visitors here. What is the point of having something beautiful if you can’t share it with others?

I was there in 2019, & Ludlow Castle, the town, the market, everything was just wonderful. Mary Tudor lived there as a young Princess of Wales. 🙋‍♀️🥂

@@monicagaitor6751 I definitely miss the sense of history that the US has not yet had time to develop. The old buildings and cathedrals. Moss growing on old churchyards. I was born in Scotland and moved with my Austrian husband to Colorado 20 years ago. Our children were born and raised here so we are here for good. We both love Kirsten and Joerg. They really bring a sense of home back to us! My husband is German/Austrian and all of my family live in either England or Scotland still. It's a funny old thing, life. 😊

I'm in love , that was one of the most picturesque quaint lil towns I've ever seen .Beautiful castle and the cutest little shops , it's a must see, on my list .Wanted to comment of how digitally clear the camera work is , feels as if I'm there .Thanks for sharing your travels. I had visited Ludlow castle in April 2015, being almost 34 weeks pregnant! I couldn't move around a lot but it was lovely!! We were allowed inside and, although I couldn't quite fit in some staircases, it was impressive! So glad for you two, take care of each other! Stay safe!

I always enjoy your videos. I hope you 2 stay safe and sound. I’ve been sick for a week now and finally went to the emergency room at the hospital. They suspect I have covid, but I won’t know until the test results come back. I’ve always been careful. Staying 6 feet or more from others, but for some reason I still got sick.

Wow I'm impressed by the way you 2 have embraced our culture and way of life, down to your mannerisms and dress lol. I'm a Shropshire lad originally, born in Bridgnorth, another gem, but I grew up from age 5 in Wolverhampton, and later lived over 2 decades abroad, including in Germany...anything to get away from Wolverhampton where I never really felt at home. Living in London now, I often get mistaken as a foreigner by my countrymen as I too adopted mannerisms and the way of thinking to some extent of the countries I lived in.

How lovely this town is. A mixture of different styles. I like the half timbered houses most. They look pitoresque and cosy. And the castle is so huge and very impressive. Thank you both for showing it to us.

There is a tea room somewhere in Derbyshire called the Wriggley Tin cafe..a great name for hikers to visit

All the lovely new finds in Ludlow, such a wonderful tour of the Castle an town Oh how I also loved the door knobs, especially the Swan. I wish I could sprout wings and fly there now. I'm so sad for you and the UK going into lockdown. I think that the US will probably eventually have another lockdown too. It's only a matter of time. Lovely video. I really enjoy your channel. I live in Lebanon, Tennessee right outside of Nashville USA. You two have such a sweet relationship. It’s a blessing to watch you together. Thank you for sharing your life with us. My husband and I are retired. We have a small antique booth here in our town. We have 7 children together and almost 21 grands. We both lost our spouses several years ago and the LORD brought us together. I really enjoy seeing places I’ll probably never go to. Again thank you and may GOD Bless you both!
