As a bedrock player who's moved over to java, I personally think bedrock edition is actual garbage, when I switched to java at first I was so overwhelmed, because the amount of things java edition can do compared to bedrock edition is INSANE. To me bedrock edition will always be a waterdowned version of java edition. I haven't ever even touched bedrock edition since I switched over to java, the game is lacking in so many places that it physically pains me to even try to play the bedrock. Honestly it's outrageous that bedrock edition is called "minecraft" the true minecraft will always be java edition.

True. I did the same, I now only play bedrock with my friends and like most people, they play bedrock only because they can't access java java > bedrock

Same though I was playing since mcpe beta days, Java just felt soo much better and no joke bedrock gives me motion sickness they butchered the game sad to see.

@@WhiteTyrone idk how to explain it but to me, the graphic just seem so much smoother on java, I think it's a saturation thing, bedrocks texture are just so like grainy/course it's so visually unapealing to look at, the saturation should be like the console edition of minecraft, I loved that look so much.

I’ve mostly only played Java, and honestly I don’t think I’d ever switch, but clearly Bedrock has its benefits too, and its cool to see why the Bedrock community plays it. They’re both just versions of the same game that we all love

All it started when I was 6yr old I won Minecraft pe in a yt giveaway. After 12yr experience bedrock is the best. You are also one of the best youtubers I found keep growing

It's really hard to say why I play Bedrock. I don't think it's because the game is better or because Java sucks!! I think it's just when I log onto Hive on my crappy computer, it's like Hive is alive. Every hub and game mode has an ecosystem of edaters and unique Hive style skins. On the other hand, Hypixel is just a big server with some fun game modes to me. I know Hypixel has a big community with Skyblock and Bedwars, but it just doesn't feel like I'm a part of it. Even when I play Skyblock for two months without touching grass, I still just feel like I'm playing on Hypixel. On Hive, I feel like I'm in a community.

I play bedrock because my computer can't run java due to it being so poorly optimized. And plus, as a skin creator, I love being able to use my custom 128x128 skins !! it pains me whenever i join a java-based geyser server tho to see it's been jumbled in an attempt to make it 64x64 lol i love playing with my friends occasionally, too, with relative ease. i like this video a lot ! its nice to see people not acting like theyre better than you just because they prefer java

I am an exclusive Java player and I would never switch. some pros for bedrock: its way more accessible for beginners, costs less (you can only get java in the "deluxe" version WITH bedrock), Cross Platform, WAY more stable and better performance (vs vanilla Java). Java more toxic lol cons (why java is better): Microtransactions vs anything free through the Internet. any problem java has, is already fixed by FREE community content. (Hot take) post 1.9 Combat is better (debate me idc). Redstone is more consistent in java. More possibilities with Commands in java. The sprint jump animation looks goofy af. (bit of a toxic take:) If you cant bridge thats a skill issue. For me the free all round customisation with mods, resource packs etc outweighs everything bedrock has over Java. Everything bedrock is better at, can be made better in java. Java is Limitless and Bedrocks limits are behind a paywall.

Bedrock sucks i played it for more than 9 years , when i got a pc to play java i never comed back , because it has limited mods bad shaders for non rtx devices ) no replaymod for content creators , java is easy to mod , and if bedrock is more open like java and has access to complex mods and changeble version it gonna be better .

who the hell said it was "polished"??? you don't have to prove you like bedrock but i completely disagree. I also started on bedrock ONLY BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE A COMPUTER, the moment I got access to a computer i instantly quit bedrock because java is just better imo, "the servers are good for multiplayer"? I would hope so lol. this video had the first person ever to Like the marketplace. the only good point in this video is that it's more accessible, being much more optimized and accessible to all platforms. I would be hella mad if they added those stupid emotes and cosmetics to java

@@Voipy never said bedrock was better than Java at any point in the video, that's not what it's about, emotes are GOATED that's why people go out of their way to use them on lunar client in Java.

@@xlisnotlarge well you didn't explicitly say "bedrock is better than Java" but, "much more polished than java" "the community on bedrock is much more close whereas on java it's very split apart" "minecraft bedrock is simply the better version for multiplayer" this one is the worse version for an opinion (hypixel bedwars is dead, bedwars is just more popular on bedrock + bedrock has more players because children on their ipads can play it.) maybe you guys like the servers because none of them are grindy, not even survival level grindy. most are just bedwars, skywars etc... i know it's not what the video is about, but you can't deny that you were comparing the two versions. what else would you have been comparing bedrock to? education edition? i take it back, emotes aren't that bad but on lunar they are just used to be toxic or just to be funny, not really for their intended purpose. also dont you have to pay for the ones on lunar? idk edit: forgot to mention, minehut is not a server, it's a server hosting software(basically) it has a bunch of servers that you can connect to through the minehut "server" or just connect to them directly.

Honestly everything you said is fair, I only disagree with the aspect of bedrock servers. The mini games on the Hive are imo(that's just my preference,could be different from you) better than hypixel, i can't say the same for other servers because I haven't played them. I might just make a video on this topic. Plus every thing you heard in this video isn't my opinion, it's opinions of people in the community, I had no say in anything they said

@@xlisnotlarge I know it's not your opinion, I'm just talking about the video in general. I agree, I hate Hypixel, especially the minigames. I was talking about some other servers.(Wynncraft, Monumenta etc)
