In London every day, on average five people have injuries so critical they don’t have time to get to hospital. Our helicopters bring the hospital to the scene within minutes.
Our advanced trauma team are the only ones in London who can perform emergency life-saving surgery on scene. They can restart hearts, reinflate collapsed lungs and stem catastrophic bleeding, all at the scene of an accident.
We are here for London, 24/7, 365 days a year, but we’re a charity, with 96% of our funds reliant on public support and we are up against time to continue saving lives. By September 2024, we need to raise an additional £15 million to replace our aging helicopters. This film was played to guests at our gala on 7 February 2024.
