Utility easements were created to maintain the property of that company, not your property. Any arborist can argue lots of reasons on the side of the utility company, but I doubt the same arborist would want the only trees around their own property disfigured so unbelievably bad. As the property owner, it's up to you to decide what tree to keep, trim, or remove. Remember always that landscaping effects property values, we plant and maintain to protect our investment in our homes and properties.
