In the 90s here in virginia, they had a first offender program where you could go to boot camp instead of jail! Bring it back!!! I know alot of guys that turned their lives around because of this program 💯💯💯

Except today, you will get a transgender drill instructor trying to molest the recruits. Think I am wrong? It happened to a recruit I knew when I was in back in 2009. It will definitely happen today.

Obviously you all don't know anything about the military or the true protection of the country. In October of 2000 I was in prison for a non-violent felony there was a severe depletion of the service where they allowed people from prison to join the military. So I accepted & went to the Marines within one year I was overseas & I stayed there from the first deployment in October 2001 until November 2006 when I medically retired due to injuries. In addition everyone has no choice about joining the selective service you was automatically enrolled when you turn 18 & got your first driver's license or voter card. It's the same way with women if they pass it for them also they have 2 choices sign up & go over to war or be in a federal prison for 10 years I think that's still the sentence.

I hate to break it to these two but this was done years ago in the US. Judges decades ago would give some defendants the option of serving a sentence in prison or joining the Marines or Army. This is an old fashioned option that is no longer available.

While i agree, send life prisoners as first waves, Our miltary doesnt work like ww2 times. I say the medicine and the medical field get a "donor" to test on. A bunch of bodies rotting in prison, lets figure out how to "????"...

That's why there were a lot of rapes and murders in the military. When I went in, they had the GO TO WAR OR GO TO PRISON. Also, a lot of people that talk about these immigrants crossing over. A lot of the people I served with were from these big cities like LA and their parents crossed over. Do you really think these Gen Z kids are going to want to volunteer? Especially after they saw how they treated the Vets from OIF and OEF. Also, the pay hasn't gone up either.
