Kanami whippin' her Bad Horsie! This whole album is spectacular. Akane stands out, MISA stands out, Kanami stands out, all the vocals stand out ... but nobody is hogging the limelight. They all cooperate and _that_ stands out! *"Shambles"* is the anime ending theme for series "Kengan Ashura."

I adore Miku's screams on this! It's one of my favourite songs, I was lucky to watch them play this live in Sendai last October. Awesome!

On Misa's bass playing style. I know a lot of bass players who play very complicated bass lines with a lot of funkiness, but there is something special about Misa's style. I like funky bass, but her style is different, not just funky, but it fits their sound so well. She has such a great mix of heavy, groovy and unique sound!

While you’re waiting for the next new Band-Maid, my vote is for Corallium, studio audio compared to the live version from Shibuya Eggman. Saiki (and the songwriting) shines ☀️

Sometimes a Band-Maid song can be hard to analyze and you can only say "wow, what happened?" ". I prefer this song live because I like to see the Maids having fun on stage. I hope they play Why, Why, Why on 2/22 at the show of songs that were not performed at Yoko Arena. Thanks Jake and stay healthy.

I love the intro to this song. Corallium and H-G-K are two songs I think you would enjoy.

Only 20? I must have been slacking. I love Miku's yells, yips, trills, screams and other interjections. I have to think that Miku does all of those to save on Saiki's vocal cords. Akane's double pedal action in this one though, is "Chef's Kiss". I love how at the end they slide into that old classic rock riff with the wah. And I am STILL Looking for an animator to help me make an animated video for this song. So if anyone knows one or is one themselves and are interested please drop me a line. I just wish they had turned Kanami's guitar up just a touch more in the live. And I'm hearing classic Heart, Pat Benetar and The Runaways in this song. And the Ladies have several other songs with that messin in the studio sound. "Be Ok" in particular. And Miku and Saiki have traded vocals on their first 3 releases quite often. They still do it from time to time, like here, but not as often as they did earlier. And many of their songs have that "They could end it here" but they add a few more lines, not to pad it out, but to enhance the song and make it the nest they can.

Man, this whole album (Unseen World) is just a lethal punch in the face. Definitely check out some more, even if there isn't an MV for it.

Hgk, corallium, and hibana are all great agree with the others 😊👍 Miku's trill and throat clearing are fun additions to why why why. Unseen World has so much awesome fills by Akane throughout the album! (Kanami puts so much wah wah wah in why why why)

Great comments, Jake! Yeah, I think one of the things I dig about Band-Maid is that each of them adds something unique without any egos running off the rails. What Kanami sketches out with the song and guitar parts is always amazing. Then the parts Akane and MISA come up with are super engaging, but they always support the song. There are a lot of songs off Unseen World and the Unleash EP that are more in the vein of WWW. You might want to try H-G-K, Giovanni, or I Still Seek Revenge (all from Unseen World).

Chemical Reaction was my fave from this album but I've grown to love Why Why Why- Why, I can't really say. It's just a f'n great rock song. Genre- Steve Via (Guitar) meets Spice Girls (Vocals). I agree totally with everything you said. Thanks for your reaction- great as usual.
