We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version kzfaq.infoUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

None of this stuff worked after I charged battery and upgraded to plus till I turned my phone WIFI on that is usually off. Once connected I turn WIFI back off now back to normal, what a stupid ordeal. I always kept my WIFI off on my cell phones thinking someone would be able to steal the signal and never had any issues with it but I guess you will with Ring.
