Eyy I just re-rewatched this episode. So nice of Josh to totally not put his favorite Monster in the same episode as one of the least liked Monsters of all time just so Cotton wouldn't even think about calling Brachydios the worse of the two new Monsters he is about to meet.

to add another layer to Josh's Koala rant in the beginning: because Australia is very arid, the vegetation that grows there is very coarse so it wears down the molars of all the herbivores that eat them. to lessen the effect of this, almost every herbivore in Australia has evolved multiple sets of molars to replace old ones as they wear out note i said "almost" all herbivores. can you guess the only one that doesn't? yeah, Koalas now you might be asking "well, how do they deal with their molars being ground down?" well the short answer? they don't basically Koalas will spend their days eating Eucalyptus leaves until their molars become useless and they starve to death i leave you with a hilarious and sad phrase i heard once: "There are many ways Koalas have died, but there has never been one that has died of old age"

No. No, he does not. But I can still respect his opinion, even if it’s different (and slightly disrespectful). He does like Stygian Zinogre though, so pick and choose your battles. That said, I think Josh has gone through some sort of character development during both Iceborne and Rise, and doesn’t hate Zinogre as much as he did in Generations Ultimate, maybe… I could be mistaken.

I’m glad to finally be able to watch a new video before it’s a few hours after upload. This episode was so amazing, and it continues to be one of my favorite PROOB episodes of all time. However, I will not call Brachydios “Daddy”; that title is reserved for either Gogmazios or Dire Miralis. While I have personally fought neither, I have seen pictures and gameplay of their respective fights, and I honestly want Both of them to return in Monster Hunter 6.

Cotton is right about the agnaktor being injured before brachy finishes him off. In the cutscene brachy gets slime on agnaktor which stuns him once it exploded. It's still impressive, but brachy didn't one shot him.

Did you know the females in heat will cover themselves in ore to make their magma armor bright in color?! It’s so god damn cool and I really wanna see it in future monster hunter game where Lavasioth isn’t treated like an Agnaktor clone, and rather like his own unique monster like in every game past

Just putting it out there, brachydios did not beat agnaktor in one punch. TECHNICALLY it was one punch plus a big explosion from agnaktor getting coated in slime during a tussle, which injured it. Then brachy punched it to finish the job.

@@notrelatedtobacon1282 Glavenus getting a Deviant? Very cool, my third favorite. But why Uragaan? There's every other Brute Wyvern they could've chosen in GU but they chose Uragaan? Here's a few ideas on what could've been: *Ironfist Brachydios* - A select few who survived the more potent blast slime molds but were left permanently scarred. They're not as durable as Raging Brachydios due to their hide being permanently damaged, but they move and punch much faster, the resulting force flinging slime molds further than even Raging's range. *Bloodaxe Duramboros* - Veteran survivors of many battles due to some individuals living in areas more populated by stronger predators. This particular Deviant is far more aggressive than any of its species, even going out of its way to cover the sharp end of its tail in glass-like ore in order to cause Bleeding. *Lancefall Barroth* - Gigantic individuals that lived for at least half a century. Because of their success rate in life, their heads have grown from a blunt shovel to a spear, akin to the Disaster Wyvern from foreign lands. They discard their need for mud and instead focus on flinging themselves headfirst onto their opponents like spears, hence their name.

XD Though my favourite monsters atm (on visuals) are Malzeno (both but Primordial more than “normal” version he’s my number 1), Xeno’jivaa, Nergigante, Kirin, Nargacugar and Tigrex. But I haven’t been playing Monster Hunter for long (a few months or so) so I haven’t seen every monster and haven’t seen what they all can do. Completed base Rise and Sunbreak and Base World. Just got to Iceborne.

Crystalbeard Uragaan is an insult to the very concept of deviants, its existence is a blight on Monster Hunter's good name, a black mark on their record. He lessens the other games for his existence, making the series as a whole worse for his presence within it.
