No, you've got it wrong. I traveled to Poland from Hoek Van Holand in 1986 by train. It was very interesting traveling through Holand, west Germany, East Germany, West Berlin, East Berlin, East Germany, and then on to Poland. The East German border guards used to come into the compartments and lift the seats to look for people trying to smuggle themselves out to the West.

1990 berlin main railway station was full of soviet soldiers, railway tracks full of soviet tanks. Now those tanks burn in Ukraine....😮

Great City Berlin. Thanks to Soviets there is no housing crises in Berlin unlike in the most countries. Last time i was there you could rent an apartment for 300 euro.

@@duartesilva7907 i was there in 2017. you pay 80 euro for sauna, pool , food all can eat for all day. We had a Soviet union era joke. it goes like this, Europeans get scared of us and they build communism in their countries.
