There are so many issues with this sermon, and it’s sadly a heretical understanding of the trinity (somehow he mixes both modalism and tritheism. crazy!) Like you said saying that God has three different functions and locations and status is just not true!! God is 3 persons in 1 being! God does not take on different forms (modalism). And it isn’t 3 different gods (tritheism). And I absolutely agree with you. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the Holy Spirit is the only “active” person of the trinity, that’s one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard. If God is still working (which He is 🙌🏼) then the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all working! 3 in 1! Never separate!
