I always took that statement to mean you are who you end up getting serious with. Typically people you are long-term relationships with are reflecting the good and bad in you. I definitely think it holds true then. But not when it comes to just attracting random people on the street. Agree that you can attract anyone initially.

I think the key is self awareness. I think we all have elements of unhealthy patterns/unhealed wounds from our past. But i think the key is being aware of that and actively working on fixing it like you mentioned. Men that I've met/dated in the past, i think i did have some elements of unhealed "broken" energy but i wanted to get out of that. And i went into the connections with love and honesty more than they did, so I was on a different frequency than them. They were coming from a place of satisfying their own needs whether that was physical, emotional, for the ego, validation, etc. but they were not open to reciprocating an authentic, open connection therefore, the connections ended. It was usually always much later when they dated around a bit more, made a few more mistakes, and matured a little bit that they realized (potentially) where I was coming from. They may very well could still be on that same self serving frequency like they were back then. Either way, they were always too late because I moved on and realized they are not my person. They were a lesson. I'm also not a revolving door or someone's fall back. I know my worth. Too little too late for them.

Be aware that those broken men had mothers. Women are raising boys to be the men that they would never date. Are the women commenting on here raising their boys to be suitable for the next generation of young women? As you complain about broken men. How many men have you broken? Karma plays no games
@renzobyd2 жыл бұрын

@ishi4real2 жыл бұрын
Women are raising their boys, where are the men? the men/fathers aren’t raising their boys/kids, right? It’s funny you’d focus on the job a woman is doing to raise a child completely leaving out the fact a child should be raised by both parents.

@oceandove Жыл бұрын
You can’t make anyone change it’s their choice whether they want to improve or not. Toxic people are the least likely to do this. If you in a toxic relationship best to get out and fast. Your toxic partners abusive ways will only destroy you and your love will be manipulated and taken advantage of.
