I kept losing 50/50 that's why I made this video

The artifact system is definitely what is putting me off from the game I feel like. There is just too much RNG involved for it to be fun. I spent over 2000 resin trying to get a gilded dreams EM goblet or sands mainstat and I didn't get a single one. That really killed my motivation.

After 4 areas of pure desert and non-voiced questlines, Fontaine was an absolute fresh breath of air. It's just unfortunate that I'm still not very interested in all the side quests Genshin has to offer just because of how horrible the Sumeru side quest experience was

Personally the part that drove me away was the inability to participate in anything new just because I started later. There's an insane amount of quests (with text that drags on for ages and exposition that is all tell and no show) that you have to slog through to even get _close_ to the newer areas. I'd love to explore Fontaine! But I barely finished the Inazuma archon quest and I'm just.... tired.

Great video. My biggest gripe with Genshin is the artifact grinding. It's so needlessly stingy with RNG that I've resorted to just calling a character's build finished once they have the correct mainstats and maybe 1-2 decent substats on each piece. When players *dread* upgrading their items because they know they're just going to be disappointed for the thousandth time, something is wrong.

3 years still not burnt out I agree artifact grinding sucks but honestly you don't need perfect artifacts to enjoy the game As long at the main stat is good you'll be fine, only place it really matters is the spiral abyss

we need endgame and more co-op stuff.

First time experiencing genshin was just so the most fun thing I had in a long while gaming wise, not that many games can hook me right off the bat like genshin, for a gamer who never played gacha games before. Too bad that feeling isn't here anymore, all of these new things just feel like eating the same cake with different topping (It's still beautiful don't get me wrong, but it's not that fun anymore). I'm now having fun playing HSR tho so that's something, I guess.

Do all of that with the artefacts and grinding but do it free to play. where if you run out of resin or want a new character and now your workload is doubled. It really does feel like real work. i love genshin and only came back to it recently midway through sumeru because the writing has gotten better, but they really need to take a page out of hsr book and add a way to make artifacts with your selected main stat/have resin overflow

Genshin was a fun trip, but as all good things they will end one day.

I'm sure Nathan will introduce new way of gameplay like adding Mount systems.

Took me 7 months of casual playing to build a 67/170 cr/cd beidou, artifact system is the WORST rng I've ever seen. And still I haven't gotten a good electro goblet 😂 My daily routine since past two months: log in once a day make 160 resin into 4 condensed resin, do leylines and dailys and log off. For events I just speed run them on the last day.

the most headache less way i enjoy genshin (now) is 1st find 2 characters i love, 2nd find their best teams that i can realistically build, 3rd build one team first for overworld clears, 4th overtime casually build 2 teams enough to clear abyss floor11, 5th stop, floor12 is just dps check and not worth it, just enjoy upcoming story and events and just pull waifus only and adore them. But i will need to build new characters i pull? that's a headache and grind. No! most of time is spent in overworld and if pulled a char then for overworld in a month you can build a decent build to enjoy overworld, like i pulled neuvillette to match fontaine theme and just put a decent build on him not even his set and he works in overworld, abyss is a small part of game which those 2 teams can clear if needed for priemogems. I am mainly playing now for waifus, lore and chill exploration once every patch. no grind needed after the initial 6 months of playing just do daily commissions for priemos, limited events, exploration once every 2 patches and no need to do resin grind till new char pulled

On my at 56 acc I’ve felt burn out but with my ar 18 acc it’s so fun OML…

Either you enjoy the journey or you do not. I do, AR 60 and I 100% all areas… including the latest area of Fontaine. The quests, the characters of Fontaine have been the absolute best so far. No burn out here….

dang this is why hyperbloom never leave my team XD you can just put weapon em and mainstat em and boom 30k per bloom lol i agree artifact grinding is so tedious (i give up easily after getting the mainstat that i need) and if its not for the exploration i probably quit genshin long ago lol (thats happen to me with hsr because im tired to grind everyday :c)
