Located in the southwest of the country, Kampot is known for its pepper, fish sauce and durian - which is the province's symbol. It is also home to one of the country's only two ASEAN Heritage Parks - Preah Monivong National Park, also known as Bokor National Park. This park is well-known for its abandoned buildings and the highest and one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the country - Wat Sampov Pram. But that's not all! Explore the serene and beautiful Green Cathedral on kayaks, discover what it takes to produce the finest Kampot pepper by visiting the La Plantation and pop over to the Kep Crab Market, to taste the speciality of the region - Kampot pepper Kep Crab!

Hello there! Thanks again for sharing your wonderful videos! I was in Cambodia and Vietnam last December and loved everything about my trip there. I went back to Cambodia for the first time since I left my birthplace in Kampot, 50 yrs ago when I was a little boy. The countryside has changed so much since, but I still remember some of the remaining landmarks. Kampot is such a lovely small town and I love it there. It’s amazing to see these places again through your spectacular lenses and storytelling. You have stopped at many places that I have been to as well. From the bustling city of Phnom Penh to the secluded resort island of Koh Rong, and to a quiet small town of Kampot. You have covered them all well. I’m looking forward to watching your Hanoi & Saigon videos and the rest of your Vietnam journey! Cheers!!!

WOW. What a fascinating journey you both are in!! Exploring and enjoying what other countries are offering to us all. My first time in Kampot and Kep was in 2005. It was the best adventures of a lifetime for me. I was born in Phnom Penh during the war, but I was very fortunate to have come to America at the age of six. Going back to Cambodia as an adult for the first time then was a complete culture shock. Thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences!

If you are referring to the small temple in Bokor park, the google map is listing it as Chinese.
