I have very vivid dreams. Some are so vivid I wake up and remember every detail. Then a lot of times I will be somewhere I've never been and see the exact place from the dream. Not "like" it, it "is" it. This has happened more times than I can count and none of them seem to be any kind of useful premonition, it just happens. We got lost on the way back from Lake Tahoe one time while taking a side road. As we passed the Bailey House I said "Oh, we were on this road a couple of weeks ago", I asked my daughter if she remembered me telling her about seeing the Bailey House in my dream. She said she remembered me talking about the dream but that we had never been there before. We drove back and sure enough I had been there I remembered everything about it, it's an old house that has a huge banner across the front just as I had described to my daughter that says, "Save the Bailey House". This place is like 6 hours from our home. I also sleepwalk and remember the things the next day if I leave any evidence that someone mentions. Weird stuff.

Yeah, me too! I am the luckiest person ever to be honest... 😂 😂 😂 I had deja vu when they gave our test back, but that was the last test and there multiple before, so I thought none of it until the end of the year and it was super easy! The image was blurry, but I could see my answers at least! 😂

This happens to me all the time. It's like I've dreamt something and then it happens, right down to the tiniest detail, to the point it can last for 2-3 mins and i know whats coming next, whether it be someone walking thru the door/someone saying something etc. It could be weeks/months or even a year later. It's a creepy feeling and worse when you dreamt that something awful was going to happen next, but the bad stuff never seems to happen IRL, the Deja Vu feeling just seems to stop and fade away. Creepy.

I've had an intense case of Deja Vu that I will never forget: I dreamed about going to an International school and meeting my high school friends, 7 years prior to the event. The kicker was, when I dreamt this, I was currently attending a different school and the International school that I would eventually go to, was only 2 years old when I first enrolled there. So how would I even dream of a school which, during the time I had the dream, didn't exist yet?

This is what we call a cognitive dream. There is no explanation to how these happen, according to my professor. I have one every day, really. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. Some believe these dreams are nods or warnings from a spirit, others believe it is you tapping into your "physic power". 1/1750 people experience these, but only .00057 of those people realize this is not de ja vu. I can tell you, you don't need to worry. Fate is sealed, so you knowing won't change anything. Back when I was 13, I got 3rd and 2nd degree burns on my leg, and I had a dream 1 month prior of me sitting in hospital room 357, with an obese woman in pink scrubs wrapping my left thigh up. And, get this, that EXACTLY happened. Down to the dot. I had never met the woman previously. My most recent one was a dream I had: I was sitting in the auditorium of my school and taking notes on politics. I was sitting in the very last seat, and then this kid was talking about how his dog died. And then exact thing happened.

Wait, what about if this occurs often? What if someone dreams things and years later THE EXACT SAME THING OCCURS and the person KNOWS that they dreamed it, and they even remember the dream? What if that same person has dreams that eventually "come true?" That would be cool, wouldn't it? Kinda like a fortune teller LOL

For me, I have a 3rd, rickety theory. What if Deja Vu is telling you the future, but it is so insignificant that you forget about it. Then you remember it has happened before, and you know it hasn't, and those collide, leaving you both fazed, confused, etc. What I've realized is that no matter what you do, it will always happen and nothing you do will ever change it.

Yes makes sense. Every time when I have Deja Vu it comes true. Once my aunt bought me a kinder egg and, before I opened it, I had Deja Vu. I already new what was inside it, before I opened it. I was thinking on telling my aunt first, but I never did.

Once When I was about 6 years old I was thinking something like I was admitted to hospital but in a animated version and then my head was hurting very much and then I told my mom about it mom then later when it didn't stop took me to hospital and then.....I was actually admitted to hospital for few days tho so can it be deja vu too ?? One time, I was driving to my aunt's place that I'd never been to before and drove there by directions from deja vu. I had directions, but I knew where to turn based on landmarks, not street signs/names. It was weird af. I get deja vu a LOT.

A few times it's ok , but often you guys should talk to a doctor about it, I had deja vu often in my teens and early 20's, I had a big imagination and very vivid dreams and I still do but the deja vu feelings have gone away as I got older.

My very first experience with this was when I was a teen. I was hanging out with a couple of cousins at our Grandparents place and I felt a sudden very strong feeling we had done that exact same before including me wearing my white knee high go go boots which I had JUST gotten a few days before. I still remember that to this day many decades later.

I thought I was the only one! Like when I was in primary school, I had a moment when I thought I was I'm a classroom in high school and could picture it, then a few years later I was in that exact classroom that I had never been in before, with a teacher that I had never seen before, but had this flash in my brain that recognised this exact scene! When I was in my primary school, the building I had the vision about didn't even exist yet, it was still under construction! This kind of thing happens not too frequently but when it does, it is creepy as hell...

I definitely believe it's two dimensions overlapping. The most memorable time I had deja Vu was when my sister, mom, and aunt sat me down to convince me to leave a very toxic relationship. At the end of the Convo my aunt said you really have a choice to make, suddenly I got this strongggg since of Deja Vu and it felt like a dream. Then before I could say it, my aunt said wowww!! I feel like this happend before lol. It was so crazy to me she had felt just what I felt. I know in that moment, had I made another choice my whole life would be completely different right now.

I was watching The Empty Man last night with my dad I'd never seen it before but it freaked me out tbh. There's a cabin in it that I've actually had a dream about, I can't remember what the dream was about but seeing the cabin made me realize I'd dreamt of it. Then there's scenes that gave me a sense of deja vu and even familiarity as though I'd experienced them myself and it was continously after this. I feel very unsettled right now just because of what the movie was about.

Well, I’ve dreamed many things that have later happened, but in regard to one particular ‘deja vu’ episode, I’d dreamed about meeting a student for the first time in an unfamiliar town restaurant. I knew her name. Three years later my mother and I moved to that town, and on a particular evening we went to eat. The moment I saw the back of the girl’s head in line I remembered the dream and knew her name already as she introduced herself to me. It very much surprised her as I’d not begun school there yet.

I’ve been experiencing serious deja vu like I’m talking multiple times in an hour every hour and I have dreamt these things before and when the moment comes I remember every detail from the dream and it’s the same conversation in my dream in the same place but I never see faces. It’s scary almost how much I experience deja vu and it gets more clear everyday and I remember more every day. But Ive never had a seizure or hallucinations.

One time I had a deja vu moment it helped me find something I lost... I had no clue where it went, then I remember thinking I had done it before and looked where I found it “last time” and it WAS THERE. If you need to ask it was a folded notecard with tape on it, so it clung to the inside of my jacket when I did some movement (not sure what movement)

I have had deja vu many times in my life. And I also discovered it steams from a dream i had at some point. That I may of forgotten. I think that while we dream it can tap into higher subconscious like astral traveling. And that’s when you may get a glimpse of future events that have not happened yet. But when it does happen I recommend you take it seriously because the next thing you choose to do may put you on a completely different path in life.

I've been experiencing this for years. I will dream of a random situation, mostly uneventful, and then it actually happens days later. What happens is I will dream of it, but would not be able to recall the dream upon waking up. And then when the event actually occurs, I will remember that I've dreamed of it exactly as how it happened. Most of the time, I can even remember telling myself in the dream that I've already dreamed of this. Sometimes, I'm even like a spectator to what is happening to me when it occurs. The first time that I can recall that I've experienced this was in the 6th grade, where I even told my classmates/friends that I've already dreamed of that moment. Since then I've had it sporadically, and then when I tried to observe it during my college years, I actually have it at least once every two weeks. This "event" or whatever you wanna call it, is useless though, cause like I said I'd just normally dream of uneventful moments, such as me watching TV with the me dreaming of exactly what is happening on the show I'm watching, on what I am doing, and the arrangement of things around me, and usually lasts within a minute or two.

I dreamed that I was playing a game,where you could manipulate time, and try to prove your friend, that you can manipulate time. When I woke up, I remembered my dream, and told my then girlfriend about what I saw. She said it would be awesome if that game really existed. Cut forward, two years later. She is no longer my girlfriend, I am playing a game that appeared in January 2015, called Life is Strange, where the exact same event from my dream happened. I thought I was losing it, so I called my ex asking her if she remembered that thing we had talked about. She said yes. We both freaked out...

I have grown to know when it is deja vu and wait to see when the moment occurs, on some days I say people’s words before they state them or while they are and they look at me like I’m crazy.

im not sure how it is for other people, but when i have deja vu its because im remembering whatever it is from a dream i had that could be a couple weeks ago or years ago, im just remembering old dreams and it really bugs me...

For me every third dream is deja vu and sometimes when I see a nightmare Im praying and hoping that wasn't deja vu... Weird.
