Bought by Skx007 and 009 back in 2015 for $180/$190. They will always be part of my collection. They coexist amongst my Tudor BB58, Breitling Colt 41, Rolex Explorer 1, Tissot Visodate, Hamilton KKing and 25 year old Seiko quartz Chronograph. Love my SKX!

i love your video absolutely agree my 97 skx007k1 and my 94 7002-7000 both NOS condition bought from a watch store before closing nos company been opened for 40 years they just got old decided to retire ❤ shows there still treasures to be found and my brand new skx009j with tags will never leave my collection ❤ my daily is my skx023j. take care

The SKX is a legend, especially on the Jubilee! I'm really not in love with automatics any more, but the SKX shall never leave my collection! Great video bro!

I own the SKX009 Felix and love it . I also own the new SSK003J1 GMT and love that as well.

I agree 100%. The 009 was my gateway into the watch hobby. I would still highly recommend. You get most of the way there with a 5KX and the GMT ones at a similar price to new old stock SKX is tempting but if you can still get an SKX without too much trouble that is what I would do. You get to own an icon. If money is a concern consider that my 007 and 009 have already increased over 100 percent in value apparently. Better than Rolex appreciation.

How often should I service my SKX or simply wait until time keeping is affected to service?

Personally I wouldn’t service it unless it’s running dramatically (1-2 mins faster or slower per day). But please don’t take it as advice, check with a watch maker if you want to be sure.

Just had to get mine serviced (by Seiko). Movement restored, new crystal, chapter ring ALIGNED. Running and looking like new - 195USD.

That’s ok mate there are lots of unreasonable listings with crazy prices. At the same time you will find plenty of true enthusiasts selling skxs at reasonable price, keep looking

SPB 185 is the route I went. No regrets. I did a review comparing it to my 051. I think the MM200s are kind of like a premium version of the SKX and the main reason I don't have a 007 now.
