KZ1000 Z1R, I believe was the pioneer for sports bikes.

Love that yellow Suzuki GS. My Daddy has always raced the old school katanas in top gas but decided to jump ship. My son's first bike is a kawasaki so granddaddy got one too. He is 68, still holds 14 national records, and both my babies are learning the art and science of drag racing from g-daddy.

I started out drag racing on a kz650 when I was 12. Now on a zx14 running top 5’s. My 11 year old son runs a Z-125 running in the 9’s.

im partial to the first and second gen gsxr750 and 1100s and then the 600/750/1100 katanas because the were all air and oil cooled. that is why I still ride my '01 katana 600.

Back in the 80th with a turbo bike I ran at 8:30 at 168mph full lay down chassis and air shifter and this was with IDB association running against like Terry Vance Vicki far and Orient Express and many others ✌️
