I did not know that regarding reshaping hats/fedoras...some I've had to retire cause of odd shapes but confidence is key and it's about your swagger to. When you're a handsome man you usually get a pass lol.

Steamer won't give same crispy results as an iron. Also, you will have problems with the cuffs and collars using steamer. If you do shirts, iron is a better choice. Steamer is only good for casual catch ups on the wrinkles.
