My aunt have a Wii, it's a Family edition and this time that i played Wii Sports Resort i'm scary to broke her TV. I don't know what happend with her Wii but it's fun to play games with this console. And yes, the GameCube backward compatible is great.

It would! I think the Joy-cons do a decent job at being a Wiimote replacement, but seeing what VR controllers are able to do nowadays I think we're well overdue for a true successor to the Wii. Thanks for watching :)

Mod it using the letterbomb exploit. These are great, I own 8 Wii's and they are all soft modded via the SD card which installs the Homebrew Channel and lots of emulators.

similar, someone gave me one as a gift, always been curious. this thing is an absolute infinite source of joy... gonna have to look into mod/customisation scene. long live Wii!

@@LowestLogan They definitely can be. I used my Wii regularly through 2015 when I got a PS4, and still somewhat often until I got a Switch in 2017. However, I pulled it out from the lower cabinet of my old entertainment center to plug into my current setup, and was pretty dismayed by those gooey, sticky feet. Ah, well ... I consider myself lucky that's all that went bad that I'm aware of. Both my original WIImotes still work, and only one of the nunchucks has broken, wearing through the cord. I have a niece, who's now 9, and it's been nice to let her play my old Wii and PS2 stuff as she's grown up, along with more modern things.

I played the first Xenoblade Chronicles on 3DS. It's large like any JRPG and the story is very good. I don't play the Wii version but if i buying a Nintendo Wii this is the first Game that i played. Xenoblade Chronicles Wii version.

It's really aged incredibly well considering the circumstances it was released under - flat-screen TVs were just starting to become mainstream, online console gaming had really only kicked off the year earlier, and it used brand-new technology that no one had ever tried using in a game system before... despite that, like you mentioned, the Wii is still an awesome system! Lol kinect webcam is always a funny idea. Same though, it really seems like a missed opportunity and possibly an unnecessary restraint even considering Nintendo's "all family friendly" strategy, FPSes could have been fantastic on the wiimote. Thanks for watching!

@@LowestLogan If you had the money to burn you could get a Super Gameboy and a Gameboy Camera hooked to a capture device that captures RCA/Component (They sell converters for component to HDMI if you don't know where to get a capture card that supports it RCA capture) to show in OBS and there you go a expensive Webcam but more so if you are using the Gameboy Player at a weird suspended angle with the capture cards et up as the webcam. You could even use the DSi streaming directly to your computer through hacking it if you don't have a capture card, or any DS in the Ds family for that matter. The Wii U gamepad is a more interesting one as i don't remember if you can use the camera part on a TV screen if so then you can use a capture card otherwise you are going to have to hack it or buy a modded one that streams the screen to your computer. You could even stream your Phone to your computer to use the camera as a webcam. Don't ask me why i know all sorts of shit about how to use random ass non webcams as webcams and not using a actual webcam as that comes down to money and when you had gaming consoles with accessories in the past you might as well see if there are drivers to convert them into webcams. And yes if you turn on OBS virtual camera you can actually use all the methods above for face tracking if you are using a VTuber model but that is varying success as the better the webcam the better the tracking is thus the better the model movement is. Before you ask i have not yet found a way to turn infrared such as the Wii or even Wii U sensor bar into a webcam, inb4 it is using the Wii Mote as a webcam instead as you can just light two candles and not actually need a sensor bar for it to work as the motion controls is working on infrared light that the sensor bar lets off when plugged into the Wii/Wii U. Really the sensor bar just releases infrared light no actual need for it WAIT OH MY GOD INFRARED WII MOTE WEBCAM EXISTS kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gMpjYMiazsqRhas.html Well something similar at least. As that guy pretty much invented the 3D effect of a 3DS 15 years ago. The Camera in the Wii Mote actually tracks X and Y positions and sizes of the 4 brightest IR points it sees. Welp my nerdiness is acting up

And the fact that they used it for such a long time too lol. I'm glad PSVR 2 is making the move to more traditional VR controllers. Thanks for watching :)
