😊It is tough for a one person content creator to respond to a lot of online inquiries〰️esp. if they're super popular, juggling a 2nd gig, balancing other interests like a family, &/or ✍️writing is simply not their gifting. 🛑 I understand it can be super frustrating if this experience feels like a one-way street😖. At least if the channel loves❤️ a comment at a minimum, you get a sense that someone is actually out there on the other end listening👂to what you have to contribute to this conversation. In the end, social media is supposed to be about a bridge bringing diverse ppl together, building a community, etc. 😉It does feel more satisfying when there's a sense of two-way interaction. That you & your interests matter to the channel. Lydia might not engage in the comment section, but she definitely reads the feedback 💻. She frequently addresses comments & questions posted here in future videos. She also uses viewer suggestions for her upcoming features. 🥺Sometimes it's simply up to us to accept a creator's boundaries &/or limitations or move on. We do help her excellent efforts by liking, subscribing, watching ads, &/or commenting. We each do what we can in our own manner. Afterall, it is a simple courtesy to offer some sort of "gratuity" for her thoughtful presentations. 🤔You can still think of her comment section as way for you to engage in conversation with her. It also opens up the possibilty of you connecting with like minded fans over these shared style interests. ​Sadly, on my YT Shorts version 📲 there's no longer the "..." option that leads to the product link description🤣. 🤗 💯% understand your dilemma. From 5-95yr, peer pressure is a very real phenomenon🤣. Wanting to fit in with your community is natural & extremely important, but there are limits. You have permission to draw outside the lines. No doubt. It can be a big drama if you try to step outside of any narrowly defined box📦 〰️esp. if you live in a smaller town that's decidedly more casual & less fashionable😂. It can be a b*tch to break out of even our own tightly defined UNSPOKEN social contracts, esp. if you've always easily fell in line with the status quo. You might feel try too hard at first. That will wear off in time as it starts to feel more natural. Other people won't like it when you upset the 🍎applecart by going a different way. Most will happily let you know you stepped out of line or give you the side👀 eye when you veer off the preferred "path" too. You simply smile & move on. If they ask you directly why you're dressed up, answer them cheekily. Say: Because it's Thursday. Or, answer no special occasion...just felt like it. Maybe you were inspired by the full moon🌝 or the beauty of a sunny🌞 afternoon. It's perfectly fine to be in the mood to jazz things up whenever the moment strikes. Honestly, life's too short to settle. When you persevere in your style pursuits, it will take you out of your comfort zone. Please don't let that stop you. You are worth it. It takes discipline to change our daily habits. Eventually it will change your character. They'll eventually back off. You'll gain respect as you learn to stick to your guns too. 😉Don't be surprised if such a decision had a positive ripple effect. You might just encourage others who wanted to dress differently too, but who didn't have the nerve to step out on that ledge alone. Thankfully, I live in LA😎. Big city living builds your confidence to withstand criticism. Thankfully, there's acceptance & space to find & follow your fashion passion here. Besides, unless you work or socialize within certain strict dress codes, no one really cares what people wear here. You do feel freer to break some rules & experiment with style. Of course, it can still seem like a cosy small town here based on your unique lifestyle, place of work, & size of social circle. I could easily see myself stay lazy after WFH, lounging, & heavily enforced isolation of all those lockdowns. Dressing down definitely brings it's own comfort & conformity, but it can be disastrous on your self-esteem😳. Sometimes you'll simply have to 💪power through the discomfort. Like when you first go to the gym🏋️‍♀️ take small steps until you build up your style muscle, your strength (tolerance), & your skills. 🫂Try to cultivate like minded people who also want to get out of their own style rut. If you can't find anyone within your own narrow circle of acquaintances, try 👁👁looking outside it for a fresh perspective. I hope this gets answered. Wide leg trousers suits my inverted triangle petite body shape, but your comment is the main concern I have with them! I only buy and keep ones that fit me to a T which isn’t easy to find.

I guess get them tailored so that they hit just right to your ankle and not dragging on the floor? Regardless it would still be a little bit annoying in rainy days, it does elongate your legs but yea can be quite inconvience in certain weathers, nothing is perfect.

I always wanted to try a pair so I finally got one, it’s not something I would wear normally but I love the fit and it definitely goes with so many tops in my closet. It’s really long even though am 5 7” but a little midi heels lifted me up so not dragging on the ground 😆

What you do is go on a shorter person's video, there are petites making videos and guidelines for petites and no one asks them to present options for tall people, and I've legit seen petites making videos on wide legs too.
