$100 dollars today is not a lot of money. I brought 16 items at the supermarket and $100 dollars ain’t a lot of money. People need to change that statement because our money is losing its purchasing power . So let’s stop saying $100 is a lot because it’s a fat big lie. Get it right!

Thank you for the info! I'll be checking my money. I have a five dollar bill that is a United States Note rather than a Federal Reserve Note, or a Silver Certificate. It is the only United States Note I have ever seen. When I first got it fifty years ago, I was told that it was worth around $7.

That blue stamp on the lower right corner is called a CHOP MARK. That indicates that that bill had been out of the country usually, Foreign business's have their own individual chop mark designs they stamp on a bill when they are 100% positive it is "not" counterfeit. So in the future if their marked bills end up circulating back to them they know it's a good bill. FYI.....the U S 100 dollar bill is the most counterfeited bill in the world. The North Koreans make the finest bogus USA 100s in the world and are referred to as "North Korean Super Notes."

If I join pcgs is it a step by step process. The first 10 coins I picked and looked up were all over 300,000 when I looked it up. When I looked up pcgs am I getting charged by the value of a coin?

I have a $100 with a gold star on the backside upper right hand corner just above and in contact with the 100. It is the gold from other parts of the bill. What does this mean?

Im not trying to show disrespect here, but. the fiat system is about to crash.!!!!! I dont care if it's rare, our currency is worth nothing globally today as countries are turning their noises to the US currency because it is worth so little. It is why inflation here is through the roof, and going to get worse as the dollar declines more / and or a 100 dollar bill, or a rare 100 bill is now worthless. Invest in silver and gold. We are going back to the gold back system.
