Why You Need to Remove Excess String

Ah, never thought to go back after settling them in to remove a little. Maybe I'll ditch the luthier's knot on nylon.

@@BeauHannamGuitars for steel strings, on a non slot head, I go for one wind above the exiting string end and two or three below. If carefully arranged, easy with practice, this has a clamping effect on the string. Luthier's knots, or worse, strings fed twice through the hole, are enough to cause seriously bad language. Nicely clear video by the way.
