I broke a 10 year relationship (We were going to get married soon) cuz he use to make me feel stupid (I am doing PhD and his mother calls me an intelligent girl), ugly (even when his mother use to say that I look beautiful), over reacting (when I use to cry and share my feelings), and pathetic (cuz he was insecure) in all ways possible... And when I raised my voice and said "uh cannot treat me like that" he said "what's new...?? I always treated uh like this and uh were okay with this for past 10 years" After hearing this I realised how important is to educate a Man that uh aren't an object or uh are the only one there to compromise...I am so much happy now... I'm dating guyz and they are treating me so much better... Imagine... From being treated like a garbage to a Queen... It's all in ur hands... How much uh raise ur bar high... I am doing that and enjoying the process... I am so much confident and also make my female friends, juniors, seniors, even my Bachelors and Master's degree Students (I am a Professor and also do counselling of students and their parents) aware about these things... I even tell my male friends and students to respect girls properly and treat them like a Queen 👑 Hope this world could be a better place for us Women one day...❤️

Most people say I have high standards, even my ex husband said they were too high to reach (that's why he is my ex). But I'm not going to lower them again, I have done so to accommodate people who I should have walked away from but didn't and I got hurt in the end. So for me, I won't be making that mistake again.

I refuse to put up with being grabbed, felted up, talked vulgar to, etc.... that's why in the beginning I meet the guy somewhere near where I live, in my own transportation, so I can leave when I want to, or need to.

This is very true, it's important to not except just any man because men are killing women. I decided that I will never have sex with anyone until I am married. Then I will only marry a man and will only marry someone who is financially stable and Christian. Then I should only get married if I have good work and knowledge, so I can build my house and not break it.
