I love the Weeks and I recommend it for newbies and the planner-hesitant. The tiny page size actually helps me be creative as there is less white space to fill and therefore I am less intimidated, so between my appointments, observations, etc, I can throw in tiny hand drawn icons or purchased stickers and not have to worry about aesthetic, because everything looks good with a tiny splotch of colour here and there. Love seeing the Weeks appreciated as the gem it is!

New Hobonichi convert here. Between you and Helen at TCMC, I finally got over my reluctance (the shadowing bothered me) and gave it a try. I am in planner euphoria! Thanks for helping me get past my shadowing aversion! BTW, it's not as bad in person as it is on camera.

I’ve been in a Weeks consistently since 2015. Always as my EDC and I’ve used 2 per year (1 for work one for family stuff) since 2017. Love love love how easy they are to both take along all the time - and how much information I can squeeze in there

Ive been using the weeks for years and is the only “planner” that works for me. I use sticker kits and also just pen, markers and washi. It fits my planning style perfectly. I love the size, the layout and the notes pages in the back and the fact that it fits in my purse. It took me awhile to find the right pen that doesnt smear, but I just love this little book! It has everything I need in a planner!❤

@@heidiyoung9236 Hi Heidi! I use the Pilot Juice Up in .04. You still have to wait like 1 or 2 seconds before you run your hand over it, but way better than any of the others Ive tried, and believe me, I have tried every pen on the market! The ink is really black too! I ordered them from Jet Pens, but I see Amazon has them also now.

Julie, I definitely purchased a techo and weeks because of your cousin planning videos. Before using the weeks, I bought a new planner every 2 or so months which was so frustrating. I was on the fence about yellow paper but I loved everything else about it so I don't even notice it anymore. I also was worried about the size of my handwriting so I use a much more fine point pen now. 🖊 Thank you for this video, Amazing!

I love the weeks- I have used it for EDC . BUT just recently I switched it to my nursing school planner and it is a game changer ! I always get the mega weeks and only use fountain pens, watercolors, and functional stickers to help guide my eyes to due dates, tests, quizzes, and etc . The notes section I would use for informational things and tab them to so i can reference things . The front index page I track my clinicals and hours . It's such a BANG for your bucks and I would most definitely buy it again for 2024 . The hobonichi weeks mega is here to stay even when I finish school, I would use it for edc when I am out and about . I just am not drawn to the stickers, sticker kits, and decorative in the weeks- i love to use it functionally . I absolutely love the crinkling of the paper and ghosting has grown on me . The right page of the weekly spreads are AWESOME - it gives a structure BUT gives you a page to freehand things and change things up from week to week .

i LOVED the Cousin in 2022, bought a new one for 2023. started seeing lots of posts of people using their Weeks. so 3 weeks into January i was itching to try it and now i just got a Weeks Mega!! ETA: i am a very minimalist planner and i barely ever decorate my pages. i also don't have that much to even plan, i'm not that busy of a person lol. so i felt like i had so much empty space in my Cousin. so like you said, everything in my Cousin fits in my Weeks - just more compact :)

I found my unused 2020 weeks, which didn’t get used for obvious reasons!! I’ve just ordered some date strips which I plan to put to use and then I’ll order a new one when they come out for next year. I use an A6 Hobonichi Techo for every day memories plus planning, kind of lol and I have a Happy Planner which I enjoy decorating. I’m so excited to carry my weeks with me! xxx

Glad you love it. Weeks is not for me though I’ve used it several times in the past. The size isn’t a fit for me so I don’t use it as my planner but even if the size worked I’d be using the KINBOR or another weeks size planner as I much prefer them to the Hobo weeks. The yellow paper makes my eyes hurt when using it and I don’t like the lost functional space on the pages. And overall the pages look clutter to me with the colors they use for the paper and the dark print and the extra quotes and stuff. But I know many love it. I just prefer other brands in this size if I were to use this size.

I started in the Weeks last year. It just works for on the go. I use mine for fitness and meal tracking. The best thing ever. And I also have for budgeting and spending. It’s great.

Been doing Weeks for years. Before that it was Techo but I need the weekly pages and I like the light weight size. I chose the same one you did for 2023! Thinking of the Mega for 2024 but I will probably just stick with my tried and true Weeks.

Love my Weeks! I have a Mega and use the Notes pages (2 days per page) for bullet journaling and note keeping. Last year, I used the Weeks and with the notes pages set up with a M-F hourly set up. It truly is so customizable which I love but I can see how some people can feel frustrated by the choices.

I never realized how much I loved off-white colored paper until I started using it. Lol. Midori or hobonichi weeks work great for me. Yes, I love the Cousin too, but that Weeks... Every time I try to avoid it, it draws me back in 😂. I love it.

I was unsure that the size and the paper would work for me so I ordered a Hobonichi notebook and a $10 Hobonichi dupe that another channel recommended. The size and the tomoe River paper worked… but the yellow weeks paper wouldn’t work so I ordered the weekly diary from sweet freckles designs instead. It comes tomorrow 😆

If anyone wants a super super cheap journal with tomoe river paper, you can buy last year's hobonichis for like 5 bucks. Cousins or something like that. Filled with basically blank pages. Wonderful

This year, I've been using a Weeks for work (tracking tasks, daily notes in the back) and actually I've made it vertical by creating 5 columns for Mo-Fri and then one column is left for notes etc. (basically going against the lined out days, not turning the planner at all like you showed). I was inspired by Lindsey scribbles. I love me a vertical week and I love that I can do it in a Weeks too :)

My weeks arrived yesterday because even though my cousin fits fine in my purse, it makes it so heavy. I opened the weeks and was shocked at how small it is. I don't plan on decorating my weeks, I just need it when I make appts, etc. Then at night I'll transfer anything from my weeks into my Cousin. My shoulder will thank me I'm sure!

Next year may be a weeks, this year I have tip my toe in with a Hobonichi A6 English version. I got the weeks supplement and the two are working for me atm. Even with using my existing sticker hoard not made for the HOBO

Im been planning sunce before planning was a thing. Many years ago someone gave me a planner that looked like the monthly view. And loved it . But never could find it with the boxes big enough the ones at the dollat or 99 cent store are too small. Then one day 4 yrs ago a planner lady had frogs on her planner she gave me all the info and rushed to find what is now my planner for life. The hobo wks. Needless to say i save so that at the end of the year i can get all the stickers my baby needs.

Love the weeks, hate the yellow paper! I bought my first weeks many many years ago. I tried two years in a row to use it and I never could finish it because the yellow paper bugged me. I went a few years without buying it and then two years ago I thought I would give it another try. I’m hooked! I love it. Yellow paper and all. 😉. Apparently I just got used to it and now I don’t mind it.

I got the hobonichi weekly calendar supplement and even that does a great job of being my calendar for almost everything! (I am sort of using it as a stepping stone into planning) and I’m deciding if I want to try the spring cousin or avec for an attempt at regular (but not regimented) journaling.

I love my weeks! Sadly about a week ago I ruined it by spilling a half gallon of liquid in my backpack. I’m currently waiting for my replacement to arrive. It’s felt so weird not to have it for the week 😢

I am completely new to planning and journaling and this planner made we want to start. Because I'm new, I just set up a cheap dotted notebook in a similar format. And I love it! After I use up this practice journal for the year I'm definitely going to invest in the real thing. I watched so many journaling videos for years but after I seen someone explaining their hobonechi weeks planner I thought that could work for me.

I absolutely love the Weeks when I see it from someone else. I've tried it twice and unfortunately it just does not work for me/my planning and journaling style at all. (I also just really hate the paper :x ) I'll still watch a lot of Weeks content though, so many beautiful setups!

I love the set ups I see. I ordered a Hobo Weeks and hated the writing dents, the ghosting, the slippery paper, the wrinkles behind the stickers. I felt like I was ‘broken’ as a Planner cuz there are so many lovers of the Hobos. Thanks for your comments.

Truly depends on what you need. If you feel like you’ll use and need all of the notes pages on the mega then go with that. The regular weeks has quite a few notes though!

This was my second try and I’m not buying again. The size is just too small to plan effectively for me. Also I’m one of those who aren’t fans of the paper. But more power to those who like and will use it.
