It's because her kit has systemic issues mihoyo will most likely never change (i.e. auto targetting on a moving target, the ICD of her E auto vaporize, etc) but some people just hate on her for the sake of hating on her which I find extremely strange.

Imo,most of people does not hate yoimiya, it just her banner come up on a wrong time, most of people will skip her for the next characters and its proper enough.

I may not be wise, but I have reasons why people like me don't choose to get Yoimiya. First, she may look like a main DPS, she Is also a sub DPS. Whichever you choose, it won't be as effective either way. Second, although she may put up alot of damage, she is very weak against larger enemies and struggles to defeat them unlike other main DPS pyros. Third, it's your opinion to get Yoimiya or not. Unless you have no good pyro characters or just like Yoimiya, then you would be wise to get her. But do remember that you won't fare well against harder enemies along the way.

Same here. I'm saving for Xiao but I love Yoimiya 😭 I had to hold back a lot every time I accidentally watched a video about her, but in the last 4 days I gave up because of a video about how everyone ignored this cute girl 😢 I lost 132 rolls for Yoimiya but ofc no regret cuz I love her so much 🥰

Yeah agree. It's not all about spiral abyss and damage. If people play genshin for the first time. Having her is great.

My only problem with Yoimiya is her Ult. Ok, make the char different, but don't have to make a limit 5 star character with the worst Ult in the game

@@naimeshirou9734 I mean no hate or disrespect by saying this but where does everyone keep getting this misinformation that she doesn't have good damage? Her damage per second is excellent and the fact that she doesn't have to chase bosses/minibosses down to be within range means her damage output is more consistent. She's just a single-target dps, not meant to deal with crowds as a main dps.

@@zeshekin8698 I'd like to know that too. In my experience 99.99% players who are saying she's bad at dps'ing are the ones who skipped her. I've not seen even one yoimiya puller complaining about her dps. And what's funny is that the skippers are using the reverse argument "the ones who are complaining are the ones who pulled her", which is so wrong lol. Show me a yoimiya main who has built her, who knows what she's capable of in right comps, and who also knows about the correct status (strengths and weaknesses) of other dps's, and still says she's bad. I've built her, she beats my homa hu. It's not even funny to call her a bad dps. The issue with icd's is non existent due to her attack frequency (devs know what they are doing, if you start vaping every AA on yoimiya, she's beyond broken lol, 50k every AA with a shit build, and 100k every AA with a decent buffed build with rust, not even pulse, that'll beat all c6 dps's lol), her range has never been a problem, since she's not a CA spammer like ganyu, you can just displace yourself quickly and resume attacking, and finally I can accept the missing arrows on slime like enemies due to bow mechanics. It's just what it is. I haven't seen anyone point out a problem with her kit outside of these.
