God is glorified when we finally get out of Gods way! That’s when he does his deepest hardest work that brings the anointing that destroys the yoke! You are growing his beloved and he loves a teachable heart ❤️ For the heart ♥️ of the matter is the matter of the heart! I was just telling my friend that we Americans have no ideal how we myself included have been idol worshiping when we have pity parties 🎉 that’s a form of it! When we put our sons and daughters or Pastors on an high pedestal!

I've read some of the comments. Many are calling it confusing or incomplete. That's not because of the speaker, that's your own inner will, the way you've always done things YOUR way, etc wrestling with total surrender to God. How do I know? Because it's where I am RIGHT NOW... grappling with the desire to hold on to MY way and everything that has brought me comfort. Do I, CAN I really relinquish control and say a full YES to God? Truth is, in my MIND/ LOGIC...ABSOLUTELY Yes... it's the right thing to do. But in reality, in my soul/emotions, there's a war waging. MY WAY has been not too bad... it's gotten me in some crazy predicaments that I've had to claw and pray my way out of but, I survived. Slowly but surely, over the past few years I've been taking baby steps in trusting God more and more and this just feels like the next logical step... the Spirit of the fear of God (see John's video about The Awe of God). I pray that God continues to show each of us mercy as we sort thru what has been presented and hopefully say a full, unrestricted YES to Him.

Just remember letting go starts with a repentance and commitment.... But takes a life time to complete. Its like loving your job, but when they call you in to work you say you can't come in... Everytime. We all just need to love the Lord and when He calls... say YES! No matter what your doing that you think is more important. No matter what! Reading His Word daily, praying constantly (where I faulter), and being surrounded by for real Christians... Helps you to hear His voice. I am so learning right now myself. Gotta thank John Bevere for this one... It is one of the best I have heard. Dude is on FIRE. Thank you Father God, Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and Holy Spirit!!

I believe there is only one Jesus and one true love. I grew up and was raised Catholic and I understand that real love can only be when in the presence of Jesus. I came a long way and learn much more about Jesus and the importance of having God leading the way. I lived my life praying Him and talking to Him like a friend. Now that I know a lot more I totally agree with giving Jesus the more important place in every day life. I learned to be like that and now He is the center of my day that I start with a song that expresses the gratitude I feel for Him. even when I am upset at Him because I am hurt. I start my day this way no matter what. Angela Umbria:) Italy

For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’ Luke 14:28‭-‬30 NLT

These are good ponts. At the same time, the WAY to be able or willing to break up your boyfriends or loose your life is to have a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus. People aren't preaching HOW to do THAT.This is so annoying. Why is it like this? Just because people go up there and SAY they are giving things up doesn't mean they will carry it out, and they likely won't even be able to without the relationship. Well, that's the way I see it. Lord Jesus, forgive me and show me if I'm wrong.
@samdung5630
@samdung5630 Жыл бұрын
I just heard pretty much the same message using different metaphors from a different preacher. I'm so frustrated with this. I've been wondering what's wrong. Well, how about Jesus had 12 apostles. Jesus! The man Himself! God on earth! 12! Yet how many thousands of people are sitting around listening to 1 pastor? What's interesting about that is what's missing- relationship. The relationship between the people and the pastor isn't there. How much relationship is there between the different Christians listening to the pastor? So fundamentally, relationship is missing. It's no wonder we don't know how to have a relationship with God, which is what makes us able to stop sinning. Can we even get the needed resolve without that? I don't think so. Really, I guess it takes our resolve plus God. I think even my resolve comes from Him a lot of the time. Back to the church, I'm not sure how this happened, but I think it's an issue. I find I'm personally getting a bit lazy about relationships, but that's also because most people around me don't really work on their relationships. It ends up just being me and that gets exhausting. I will find a way to rectify this in my own life. I'm on a tangent now though. Anyway, I'm sure this is a wonderful man of God as is the other pastor I referred to, but I think something needs to shift in the church. I'm certainly no expert though, and these men, who are doing something for the Kingdom, shouldn't be faulted. God bless them for doing their part.

What about the man that was hanging on the crossed next to Jesus. He didn't have time to walk away from all of his sin or sinful behavior. I believe he was saved because he believed Jesus was the son of God and was dying for him. The Bible says That anything not a phase is a sin. So unbelief is a sin. When we believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is, the son of God died for our sins in our place, and was raised from the dead that is salvation. Discipleship comes after salvation. All of Jesus's disciples believe he was the Messiah before he taught them to be disciples.

Hi! I was at Consecrate 2022 and heard this message. It seems to me that this is not what John is saying. With a deathbed conversion, it is very different. No matter what the circumstance, we are called to do all that we can for God, for a person on their deathbed that might just look like saying a very simple prayer of repentance and faith! They have no time left for good works or even baptism, but merely faith in Christ, which in that situation is them doing all they can for God! Also, like Dallas Willard said, "grace is not opposed to works, it is opposed to earning". We are called, after salvation and out of our love for God, to do good works, bc faith w/o works is dead (James 2:26). Hopefully that helps! Jesus loves you :)
@charlespackwood
@charlespackwood Жыл бұрын
People will stand before God some day, to give account for sending "believers" straight to Hell. Repentance is repenting of everything that constitutes your life prior to salvation and being rooted into everything that is Christ Jesus: it is being baptized into Christ's death, so that they can walk as a New Creation (In Christ Jesus); because IF we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, we then, and only then, will of a certainty be in the likeness His resurrection. (God ONLY resurrects dead things). [Romans 6:3-5].

You will always be found wanting when looking for the things of God. And it's not you! It's the fact that you pledge allegiance to a non-existent thing. He's not going to answer prayers because he's not a thing! Consider, in the history of humankind. Not one mountain has ever been moved. And Jesus said that if two will agree that they can say unto that mountain be thou cast into the sea! And yet not one time has any mountain in the history of christianity ever budged an inch! Jesus wasn't speaking metaphorically...
@elijahbcrouch
@elijahbcrouch 6 ай бұрын
Hi! Just want to point our you're committing the fallacy of equivocation at least once (maybe twice) in your comment. Saying "he's not a thing" is quite a funny sentence...is God a he? or is God nothing? So in that way you're equivocating the word "God". Also, when you speak of mountains being moved, that's also clearly a metaphor. There are lots of examples of metaphors in the Bible, for instance when Jesus says that "I am the door". When we read that, we do not say to ourselves "hmmm...was he a steel, wood, or glass door?" we understand what he is referring to by the context. And that reading of "I am the door" doesn't make the statement less true, since all metaphors refer to something real. Hopefully that clears some of that up? Jesus loves you :)

I told him, “your will your bill” and guess what, he paid for my tuition by giving me a scholarship that I didn’t even qualify for. I never had to worry about paying my tuition. God answers prayers and he does move mountains, it’s just sometimes not in the way we’d expect it to happen. And I could report more convincing things than simply getting your tuition paid. Which happens all the time I might add. But it doesn't prove anything. Look up confirmation bias. If God were real, they'd be real evidence. There'd be evidence of the flood which there is none. There'd be evidence of Moses in Egypt. There is none. There's no archaeological record of any of it. The Israeli archaeological society and the Egyptian archaeological society both state as much... You say you hope I can find God. I say Christians are dishonest. They're not honest with themselves. They're not honest with what they read in that book. They're not honest about anything. And for a religion That's supposed to be chocked full of good honest moral hard-working individuals. I find corruption I find everything you'd expect to find from an organization run by humans... So save the rhetoric for the gullible... Because if you were honest, you'd see the Bible for what it is. I dont know you but I feel your pain. 😢 It isnt Jesus who did this though. Its Satan. He comes to kill, steal and destroy. Seek God. Search for the root of where Satan was let in to do this. It may be nothing you’ve done but someone generations before you. For example my father was involved in Freemasonry and was a controlling and violent man in ways… took me years seeking God for answers to overcome and have the abundant life Jesus promised. Press in and dont give up.🙏🏼

I am sorry. I used to blame God for what other people and my own caused. I have surrendered and ALL has been restored and I have a huge testimony

Like he did Job. Job honored God every morning to make sure his children didn't offend God but Jesus wasn't happy until he killed all Job's kids his livelyhood and put boils all over his body and expected Job to have a good attitude anyway and then where were you when I did this or that. He diedfor us but apparently thats not enough until he torments you. I read his word every day for yesrs and can still quote it and was in Church every time the door was open praying at home along with praising and worshipping him but about 15 years ago I walked away. Haven't read the Bible in years.

I hate when people start teaching that they are not sure people who walked away from the faith had really genuine faith. Well lets not teach something that the word of God says there are people who did have genuine faith and walked away from it. The bible talks about disciples who followed Jesus but walked with him no more. Judas was a disciple of Jesus but yet he turn from the faith. Look what happen to Lucifer and a 3rd of the angles who once served God. They walked away from God. What happen to Adam and eve they walked away from the faith. Spiritually they died. There has been a lot of people who was a real born again Christian who walked away from the faith.

I usally love john but He thinks its only the word that convicts of sin, Jesus said "I will send the Holy Spirit and He will Teach and convict of sin IF you are in Sin, and there is not conviction, there is not convictor. PERIOD. Paul did not keep killing christians after he repented, John.. Get a Clue. It did not take a disicple 2 years after paulsconversion to convince him that killing christians was a sin and to immediatly stop doing that. PERIOD. Agreeing that Jesus is the Christ or believing it does not make one a christian. Demons not just believe , they know who he is, but he is not their lord. Its this greasy grace he is talking about that is sending millions of practicing athieasts believe in christ people to Hell. Its not called legalism, its called the Word and Spirit ofTruth, you can not serve 2 masters, you will love one and hate the other. Could go on for hours, but oh well, hope a few will listen.

May God have mercy on you. The only personality that is called the accuser of the brethren is the devil. Unfortunately you have chosen to join him in his ministry.
