This is not a VHS camcorder. It's not even a VHS-C camcorder. This is a Sony digital 8 mm. videotape camcorder.

Little correction this Is not a VHS camera not even an VHS C it's an late 90's digital 8 Mil. VHS camera are something really different and you should try It, they're also good camera's for making exercices ! Have fun

No. VHS are gone. The vhs players are not even produced anymore, only refurbished. Do NOT get a vhs. Its hell on earth if you want to properly digitalize them without paying a professional.

You play it back on a device that will make it into a digital file. Next, Hi8 and MiniDV are cassette's that get digitaized video recorded onto them.

"VHS camera"... 😂 You need a strong shoulder for an actual "VHS camera" sssson! Still got a really "old" Sony cam.. with like 15 Mini DV tapes, I wanna dust off now. Also have HI8, and VHS-C tapes.. I'm 33 years old, I now feel like i'm in my early 80's. Thanks ernesto.
