I'm not gonna lie, when Pottermore redid the house test and I was resorted into Hufflepuff I had a bit of an identity crisis: But I soon learned to love Hufflepuff and realized why its the best house.

Hufflepuffs don't care much about showing off and yes they do seem carefree but when shit hits the fan that's when they shine(last battle of Hogwarts, true to their house code almost all hps stood and fought). IMHO their morality is way above even to Griffindors.

Harry Potter lore is basically 1900s lore so events that take place between 1940s-1990s. All those time frames are important for the Harry Potter storyline. But this is basically expanding the wizarding world a little more. As another student in this game (main character in the game) is a transfer student from a different wizarding school from a different country. I’m not sure if this game explains the founding members of hogwarts, but we’ll have to see. I know Merlin (a wizard in every fantasy wizard genre known to man) is mentioned in this game A LOT and is part of the lore for the wizarding world.

I guess, when we are young, we try to find and be ourselves. Individualistic pursuit. But as we grow older, we enjoy more company of trusted people as time pass by.

Pretty cool. In the Wizard World quiz, it chose my wand to be apple wood and with unicorn core. The game selected it as well. Pretty cool. Plus I heard Hufflepuff is the house that can give you the Azkaban story line.

O what did u get for a wand?I got red oak ,unicorn core ,13 and 3/4 length and slightly flexible witch I plan to use on my first play thru .

@@pinknecro3321 My wand is a Spruce wood with a dragon core 13" and surprisingly swishy flexibility. Think I'm content with this too but I haven't researched much about wand properties yet. Might research them more so I can be more selective about my wand in my second playthrough.

That'll help. A lot of players are expecting to play during the era of the movies and I think they'll enjoy it less because they refuse to see the fact that it takes place much earlier.

It seems like a great window I to a world inspired by the books without trying to force the events of the books/movies into the game.

Im in a similar situation. Although i did read the books and watch the movies for the first time just a year ago (loved the books, movies i didnt particularly love but they were ok imo). Even though i do have some knowledge about the wizarding world now im still pretty much a novic so it’ll be nice getting to go in without having to worry if they got anything wrong.

That’s why I went with Griffindor first too, love the Harry Potter books and movies.

Hufflepuff is the moderate house that could have traits from each house, although they treasure hard work and loyalty to friends as their own prerogative So if you wanna be Hufflepuff you are already one in heart 🖤💛

That is exactly what I was thinking! I am in between hufflepuff and slytherin on quizzes I take and kinda wanna become the most evil hufflepuff to the bad guys that the Wizarding world had ever seen 🤣

Harry actually had a lot of qualities of each house (and lacked a few as well) and so the hat let him make the final choice. The houses aren't molds for exact personalities, they're just indications of what you value the most. Harry, again, is super cunning and likes to learn. He's also social to a point, but he prefers the traits that make him Gryffindor overall, even if he's actually more Slytherin in practice.
