will this inv-chair enable you to seem like you are sitting on the passenger benches of your own skiff while it's anchored? i'd hate do to all those many JP puzzles unless this will work. clearly i don't want to sit above the bench, rather ass on seat.

I tried this for you and all the seats from the skiffs I have still have you floating above it. ( you can't pass through them, so it is likely all of the chairs for passengers will not look right while using the invisible chair.) You would need a part of the skiff that has no collision (you can walk through it) for it to have a chance at looking right.
